If you don't mind drilling, the flavor production can be improved by drilling the center pin (requires removal) of the bottom section and the head. I used a 5/32 drillbit. The V2 has lateral holes on the center pin inside the shaft of the base. Makes sense to have a direct airflow. The center pin of the head has a teeny-tiny-little hole for airflow in it. I opened that up. If you remove the center pin of the head, be prepared to use new wire to re-coil the thing, as it'd be quite frustrating to try to re-assemble. It's a whole lot easier to trim-off excess wire than to feed the pin back in with that tiny, unsecured wire trying to SNAFU the process.
Also, boil all the parts (unassembled) prior to assembly/use, as there may be residue from manufacturing. Ya don't wanna taste machining oils and gunk in your vapor.
