JahJah1121, have you increased your coffee intake, by chance, or has it remained the same? Like it's been said above, many find they actually find themselves decreasing their coffee intake after a while. Not on purpose, it just happens. Some of us continue drinking the same amount when quitting and notice we are on the shaky side.

I could drink coffee from dawn til noon while smoking, now I can barely get through a cup in the morning.
The MAOI's in cigs, just as in meds, work hand in hand with nic, and your caffeine tolerance can be high between the 2. Eliminate the MAOI's and the caffeine may start hitting you a bit more than you're used to.

Yeah I have found that my caffeine intake is down. For sure. The depressing feeling are actually going away as well. I really think it was just not having cigarettes when stressed. Literally the last two days have been amazing. No cravings that were intense. I'm chipper. My roommate and I are dedicated to this. We love it. Not out of the woods yet but we are more dedicated than ever.

It might have been too much nicotine.

Too much nicotine will initially show up as elevated heart rate. You can check your heart rate a few minutes after vaping. It should never be over 100 - one study I read had the vapers averaging around 79 bpm while vaping. When I think I've gotten too much nicotine, that's the first thing I check. I have gotten it over 100 from vaping before, usually I feel lightheaded and jittery.

I know about Dr. Farsailianos study but something about some of the possible conclusions don't add up with the experience of vapers. Vaping can deliver a lot of nicotine, especially if you are doing a lot of good mouth-to-nose inhales along with lung inhales. It just won't hit you as fast as smoking. It creeps up on you over a period of minutes.
