Have a friend who finally wants to try to get off Analogs. Instead of having him go through the trials and tribulations of various mods and ecig's, I gave him one of my REO mods (REO Grand), batteries, charger, RM2, 30g coil, cotton, inflating pin, and some of my favorite juices to help him get off to a good start. Having various mods, I learned, you only need one good one. My other non-REO mods are gathering dust. Hopefully he will save money on buying other mods, and finally kick the Analog habit. Wishing him and his family the best!

I found that it is important to tell people just starting out to not try and vape like they were smoking. I was use to going outside every hour for a cig. With vaping I found I needed to vape more often. Just not for quite as long. I have had a few people tell me that they were not getting enough to kill that "want a cig" feeling. The nic in the juice is also very important. Some can start and be good with a low level. Others, like me, needed 36 at first.

With the RM2 he should get flavor and also plenty of nic. I know I go through a lot more juice with the RM2. That let me lower my nic.

Make sure he knows to pull the batteries when he notices a change in the vapor. They should come out no lower than 3.5V. I find that the RM2 with a low ohm coil will deplete a battery faster than a coil of 2.0 or higher.

You did well giving him the perfect set-up! Keep us posted on his progress!

Besides the stuff I gave him, I will also monitor his progress and my "not so experienced" knowledge of making coils, vaping, online videos, etc. Just happy spreading the joy to a friend, and improving his health!

Just like many here, many of us learned from trial and error (spending much on other devices). God knows I spent a fortune on other Mods and accessories...all of them gathering dust in my home.

Thats good work Jet. Your friend has a great friend in you. I was unsuccessful getting my neighbor to use a REO instead of smokes, but I suspect it was because he had a cig in one hand and the REO in the other the whole time.

I believe that if someone truly wants to quit, ecigs (in general) make it easy, REOs make it foolproof and even easier

On a positive note, my man Jose is doing great with his. He's even down in Florida, 600 miles or so from me . He has taken to a honey tobacco juice.

He is determined to quit though and that makes all the difference

That is extremely nice of you! I gave all my old Smokeless Image gear to a buddy of mine, but he has no desire to quit smoking...yet.
