Because yesterday I was at a place where flying objects land and take off. And my PV got taken from me by a certain group of people. This ...... me off, I have been a smoker for 7 years and because of my PV I have stayed off analogs for the past 2 years. Now that this group of idiots have taken my only PV that I had, I'm holding out as long as I can before I get a new one.

I'm starting to feel that this is horrible. I was contented to hide and vape in the shadows, running to a stinky toilet cubicle just to vape so I don't attract attention and now after the latest busts they punish us all?

We're stronger than the group of people paid to enforce a law they do not understand. Because this concerns our livelihood.

I know that feel bro. I was once "relieved" of some gear at a similar facility. Was expecting extremely thuggish behaviour, but the guy was actually apologetic, and seemed to acknowledge that it was just his job that needed to be done.

It really sucks balls knowing that you're doing the right thing but having to keep your head down at the same time.

I guess that's the way it'll have to be until things change for the better.

Sorry for your loss. May you recover with a better vape.

This is why I'm saying that there needs to be some kind of effort among our community to push for greater awareness. Sitting behind desks is a comfy thing to do, and we could start here. We all know the interweb is a powerful medium..

They cannot ignore us further, especially considering the number of PVs that were confiscated in the last heist. They acknowledge the fact that we exist and this could only end one way or another. Either they keep the ban or they lift it.

And from previous track records, they have known to always keep bans without lifting it. Unless we start voicing out.

Social media is actually quite a powerful tool and if many people supports it, they are bound to take action.

Problem now is, ecigs are still so obscure to many because of all the control. I still know of people who doesn't know what it is and the rest I heard was people thinking it is super harmful because of all the reports.

You could tell them how much and ecig will not explode and that the one that did was because of an uncontrolled mod but people can't tell the difference between a proper mechanically fit ecig and a tinkered one. Ecigs are still ecigs to them.

You do realise that having a chat group on your mobile device with the group of vapers just serves as a big catch for someone on the lookout if you were ever "detained" and searched...it's basically a contact list and can serve as evidence for landing a big one.

Call me paranoid or suspicious...but good luck if such a group is established. :)

Yes agreed, indeed the risk is there using mobile devices with group chat . The risk we will never know who we exposed ourself to

I have been contemplating using mobile chat room as media to communicate, this forum is much safer so long we stay within the forum rules

But if its wechat using ID.. That's quite hard isn't it?

And anyway being on this forum is not any better haha.. Especially when IP addresses are floating around.

Wechat Id? You are using your mail or mobile no. to register so is not that safe as well
