I've been searching all morning for experiences that people have had with EM 510 attys. I'd like to know what people think about them in general, how long they tend to typically last as compared to Joye ones, how good the TH is, how good the vapor is ... in short, people's experiences with them because I'm about to order a few. Nothing quite beats the price of these attys and it's a bonus when online stores near me are reselling them. They're cheap.

There are, of course, tons of threads on this (and I don't profess to have read them all) but the one's I've read all end up with people telling the OP to buy a 306 atty or to buy genuine Joye or even to buy a LR atty from EM - without giving a solid reason about what may not be up to par with regular EM 510 attys. But that's never an answer to the original question!

So ... how are you folks liking your normal resistance EM attys, and all that I asked above? Mileage varies of course but I get well over a month of awesome production from a Joye atty. I've never lost one yet in fact.

Your help is big time appreciated so that I can be ... 'Winning'. (Thanks Charlie).

EM Atty's; After 3-4 weeks I tossed them, barely working, maybe about 20% what they were new.
My JOYE brand(s) are still working 90% - 95% after 6 months.
Vapor production and TH were good at first, tapered off in three weeks, near nothing in four.

Just my experience....

And a 306 atty on an e-go is quite nice! Solid vapor and a nice smooth flavor. strong TH

Back in November, I got a box of five 4.2ohm atties from Eastmall for 6v vaping on my BB. The price was a "too-goo-to-be-true" $15 for the box... I really should have known better. One was DOA, and each of the remaining four lasted 7 to 10 days before going *POP*.

I used them exclusively for dripping, and they were definitely kept wet. Yet, they didn't last even a quarter as long as my usual 3.5ohm atties.

I was definitely disappointed, but I guess I got what I paid for. I won't be buying more atomizers from them, though. That's for sure.

Just a little clarification:

This is very helpful, more than you guys can imagine. I also do understand that one gets what they pay for. Maybe I should assume that any type of atty from EM is not very good, But ...

I should have been clearer: I'm not buying LR attys or 4.2 ohm attys. I'm looking to buy 2.3 ohm +/- 0.1 ohm regular attys from EastMall for my 3.2v Ego. Maybe the ones I'm talking about in particular are not that bad? I know people here have bought them in bulk straight from China. If anyone has experience with those please keep the help coming. Thanks, really thank you.

I've been ordering LR510 attys from EastMall for about 5 months now and have experienced very few problems with them. I might get a bad one out of every 20 or so, but that is, for me an acceptable failure rate, especially for the price. They generally last me a couple of months.

Not bad, not bad at all for when I'd be looking for LRs in the future. Thanks for the input! =)

I dunno... whats the chances that only one of the items they carry are bad quality. I mean you stock cheap stuff, or you stock good stuff. I suppose that some suppliers stock both cheap and good quality items. Personally I wouldn't take the chance.

Honestly, its said and yet some still don't follow it: You get what you pay for

Honestly, the only EM atties i have ever bought directly were 2 em 801s which are great but all the 510 em's came with something else, as the "Comes with a 510 Atomizer" deal so i used them b4 i used the joye ones i bought and they just work for me maybe i got some good ones they are the ones with the gold band at the bottom "the battery connection end"....

I still have 50 or so of the original EM LR-510 Attys and they are the really good ones, I placed a huge order when they first came out for $3 each and said they would always stay at $3 (Not) but anyway I really like those Gold Band Atty's for my VV Mods they are a very good vape from 4.2-4.6v and last

Exactly, mine came with the ingulgence, guy threw in two em rr 510's and i love them at 6.4v not too hot like a joye, dosent quite burn the juice and had quite a run since i do chain vape at 6.4 with light fruit flavors and bakery stuffs.. works well for me but i guess at lower voltage they might not be so good i will throw one on my ego batt for old time sake and see whats up..high volts for 3+ weeks should lower the resistance some though, shouldnt it?....when my provari gets here i will through these on it to see what the resistance is like after a month at 6.4v, just wish i knew what it started at.

I am surprised to see all the bad reviews. When they were introduced back in May '10 for $3 each, I bought 20. It came to $75 with shipping. They arrived in 10 days. All measured out between 1.5 and 1.8 ohms.

I have 7 left untouched and have 3 in rotation now. Gave a few away so I have only 'lost' 7 in 10 months. Never had anything but a good experience with them.

Of course, seeing these reviews I do not think I will buy replacements. They must have dropped the QA ball over the past 9 months? Weird.
