Hey guys. There have been a few threads on here about shelf life and honestly there are some pretty mixed opinions.

I vaped 2 year old eliquid and it was harsh and nasty but it was 12mg and poor quality to begin with. Now that I vape 3mg eliquid, the nic harshness over time isn't as big an issue.

How long is premixed eliquid good for in your opinion?

Hi Hendog24.

When it comes to Shelf Life, so much depends on How an e-Liquid was stored.

There has to be a Difference between an e-Liquid that is in a Recycled Plastic container exposed to Indirect Sunlight and Temperature change. Verses one that is in a Glass Container stored in a Dark Place where the Temperature doesn't change.

I just pulled out a two year old bottle of Ahlusion a couple of days ago. The bottle was still sealed, even had the bubble wrap it came in around it. It seems fine, well steeped shall we say. Ahlusion does bottle in cobalt glass bottles, so I am sure that helps. I've had other juice in plastic go bad after 6 months...

Yes, depending on brand, etc. I have only ever bought "made to order" from recognized on-line vendors. Because of forums like this, they like to keep their reputation. The places that scare me, and I have seen a few, are where it is a single shop that is just looking for the fast buck. I have seen some unsanitary places.

I store in a cabinet unless I intend to finish the bottle. Then it is only sitting out for a couple of weeks.

I have a particular tobacco based juice that I only vape at work. I bought a 250ml bottle that lasted 9 months and the last of it was the same as the first of it. I just keep it in the kitchen cabinet. My guess it would last a year or longer.

I don't think theres a magic date to juice. Like one day its good and the next its bad. I believe it would be a slow deterioration.
