I hope Stevie is okay.
Found her out front of my driveway curled up in the rain/ wind looking cold and wet. I went around calling for her after work then she came out to me looking tired and hungry so I brought out a big bowl of kibble and carrots for her . She was thankful. I’m just glad she’s okay.
I fixed the trap up again and cleaned it out. There was a carrot under the trigger causing it not to go off properly. I think she will go in soon. I was worried yesterday from not seeing her.

Morning peeps and pets

Nice and sunny here in Toronto which means Zelda will be on tear today. Swear, that cat is powered by solar energy. Will be off to the grocers soon, it’s Mexican night! Princess has requested chicken enchiladas for dinner, hold the enchiladas.

Speaking of solar energy, these poor felines are desperately trying to recharge!

Ricky-it is so cute how the bunnies love their tunnels and burrows.
I made fluffy a new cedar box to go inside of the other day. Inside the cage that blue plastic one would flip over sometimes since I couldn’t attach it to the bottom of the plastic floor of the cage. I seen him using his teeth to try to flip it back right side up so I decided to make him one out of some scrap cedar from my work some one was throwing out. He likes it and always goes on top of it looking around like a big shot haha. He sits up there eyeing bugs and sassy looking all big and tough.

I understand your perspective but if people drive (in an area like mine) without them, they put everybody's lives at risk on the road. 9/10 car accidents our FD responds to would likely not have happened if the proper tires were on their cars. That's a lot of accidents and a lot of volunteer emergency personnel hours that won't ever be retrieved. Quebec's accidents went down a significant percentage when they passed their mandate and I'd love to see that here, because for 6+ months there's snow and ice and it's often pretty bad out there. I personally don't care if people want to endanger their own lives by whatever means they fancy, but driving endangers others.

Doesn't make sense for your area at all though. Must be a BC thing but you'd think they'd excuse it in a mild climate like Vancouver

Plus we could cut down on all the salt NY uses on our roads which is killing our cars. People'd save money in the long run. I spent $1000 on new calipers and brakes last year because the salt destroyed them :(

But anyway, sorry, I have a lot of energy for people who live up here and don't have proper tires. Totally feel you though. Back to the bunnies. Seen Stevie today?

What do you do with your regular tires when you have the winter tires on? Some people used to swap them out, must have been back in the 80s, but I don’t hear of anyone doing it lately. I don’t even know how I’d get a whole set of tires home, and then, where would I keep them? Half the people I know have a barn or garage, but not everyone.

I’m not trying to be argumentative, because you’re right, it’s safer. I just really have no clue about the details.

But speaking if vehicles, my truck is going Friday for its 3 month check up (actually 4 months old now) and they’re supposed to put my running boards on as well. I’m nervous about that because they didn’t seem to know if already paid for that - well, got the salesman to throw them in. It’s in my paperwork which of course I cannot find. I’m sure it’s in their system, if anybody bothers to look. But dang it, where did I lose the paperwork?

Just be adamant and do not take NO for an answer. It was a deal and you expect them to honor it. Act like there is no question that they were part of the deal and if he left it off the paperwork, well, that's on him. If you bought this truck at a dealer they can afford it and should honor it. But unfortunately, he might have left that off when writing it up.

I found my papers!!! I put them in a ‘safe place’ lol I am so like my mother. Most expensive thing I ever bought and it would be just like me to lose the receipt. And I found where the running boards are mentioned. Yay me!

But yeah, if I hadn’t, I know I would have raised Cain if they tried to back out of that deal. I didn’t even ask him to throw those in, he offered.

She looks so forlorn in the first picture. I am very relieved that she showed up.

I just sold my old truck for really close to what I was asking !

Pretty happy about that.

Stevie is still just hanging close to the trap but not going in. She has caught the attention of some of the neighbor hood when I got home people were all out on my property checking her out and feeding her. I got out and they asked if this was my rabbit. I said yes that’s Stevie nicks. I said I’m trying to trap her to get her back safe in her house so can you not feed her.

They said oh sorry she’s just so cute!

Seen a wild bunny when coming home from the gym. I’ve never seen it before but my neighbors told me they seen her once with another rabbit. This was a small one and would let me get close when I got out to investigate. It was standing on its back legs though through some bushes seeing what was shining a light at it

Separate rims. Easy swap twice a year and summer tires last twice as long to boot.

This is so like me (and due to hearing my moms words in my ear)
YAY YAY YAY you found them.
I have no idea what I have done with the papers to the new house I bought (and paid cash for) because, well moving is chaotic and I probably put them in that "safe place where I would know where they are when I need them'

But did you tell the bunny you were master of all bunnies and could keep it safe?
