When Georgia was a pup, she got into the toilet paper and I’d scold her. Happened maybe 3-4 times. One day I’d been out and came home to fine the roll empty, but no mess on the floor. She’d hidden it all, every last bit, under her dog bed.
We have a pet gate on our bathroom door, to keep the DOG from tearing up the toilet paper. Catdog can’t be bothered with such exertion. This is about as active as she gets (tomorrow is medicated bath day, so excuse her icky fur). The picture woke her up, her is NOT pleased

What more could a bunny want other then being warm and regular meals. I bet they feel like they hit the jackpot![]()
Thank you, one day at a time!Good morning critters!
My deepest sympathy for your loss. It does get better with time but is terrible until then.
I'm so sorry Terri.
Not even a huge dog person but I missed my son's dogs as they went/are going. Dogs definitely have a presence, that is for sure.
My son's first dog was.... She was INCORRIGEABLE. LOL one time my husband like, brought in dog food and dropped it and it spilled open. He got distracted, then he returned to find she had eaten so much she puked.... And then, she was eating the puke.
We were often known to say "Samantha, stop licking thee plate! The paint is not going to come off!"
She also had this spate of escapes one time and the neighbor brought her back, stating he had an outside dog that was actually NOT a glutton, and could we please keep an eye on her because she was eating all THAT dog's food.
She really liked to eat, that one.

God tell me about it right now they are all over because of Toby trying to get the bunnies. He can’t handle them he was good at first but now he’s obsessed and just tries to get at the cage and make their little ears go pinned back like helmets on their heads. That’s why I’ve been working so hard to get them set up outside. All weekend from morning to night I’ve been chainsawing drilling hammering non stop and organizing things even in the pouring rain to get our living situation back to normal.I’d forget about the gate and fall flat on my face….even sober! The TP attacks happen, but they are not common. Mostly it’s when I mistakenly leave the TP out.
Should we be getting alarmed for Ricky now that the bunnies have voices? If so we need to get alarmed for me because all my animals have voices too. I always leave one in charge when I leave home. Usually Julie because she is the least apt to cause any ruckus.Aw cute. And so sorry for your loss Terri McVeety sorry haven’t had much time to post.
It’s cute when I put fluffy’s kennel up to bugs and sassy’s cage yesterday I could see bugs and fluffy nose to nose communicating by the looks of it. I figured bugs was saying so my wife sassy tells me you were defiling her and forcing yourself upon her when I was still at the lumber yard?! What’s up with that man?
The biggest worry is our neighbors cat. It has killed wild bunnies and brought them home before. My old cat once did years ago too, killed a rabbit twice it’s size and threw it around out back for hours. My mom called me at work screaming because of it.
These ones are safe though. I’m making sure of that
He didn’t start until he was old, he’s never been a chewer. TP is unscented. He only does it when he’s left alone for longer than a shopping run, or I go out of town... I think he’s just expressing his displeasure at my absence. He’s quite the mama’s boy!(bless their hearts)... We NEVER EVER had problems with toilet paper. EVER. In the 50 something years I've had pets. We did have some issues with Frodo in his young years but NEVER. I'm lucky or the toilet paper is yucky. Here toilet paper is unscented, maybe it's that?
Yes, it’s been quite the experience getting used to.... lots of nighttime “whack, *#$%@!!!!” the first month. I’ll catch y’all later, off to get a tooth screwed into my mouth, finally.I’d forget about the gate and fall flat on my face….even sober! The TP attacks happen, but they are not common. Mostly it’s when I mistakenly leave the TP out.
Don’t know where on this big blue marble you are located, but I am sure there are other predators you would have to worry about other than cats. Toronto is a large metropolis, but we do have foxes (the animal) roaming around that have been known to kill cats and even small dogs. Also a rabbit in a cage would be easy pickings for a raccoon.
Thanks I’m gonna keep adding to this house and make it extra strong. It’ll be safer than our sliding glass door to our house that’s for sure. I’m thinking of keeping them inside at night during the winter anyways in their kennels.Canadian? Good day eh
Bears are pretty powerful creatures, if they want food, they will tear something apart. We had a cottage in Northern Ontario, huge black bear population. Our neighbour thought it would be safe to lock his garbage in his car for a trip to the dump the next day. Bears tore the doors off…how do you explain that to the insurance company.
Raccoons are a natural rabbit predator, if they can catch one. Shouldn’t be a concern if the bunnies are kept indoors. But outside, and unattended – I’d be extra cautious. Just something to keep in mind.
