Shipping time

Was going to place an order for my first ever REO today or tomorrow, but know that I have to sign for it. I will be out of town Friday through Sunday. What is the typical amount of time that it takes to arrive in Texas? Should I just wait till the end of the week before I order so that I can make sure I am around to sign for it?

Either that or go to the PO and have them put a hold on your mail so you could go in Monday morning, pick it up, sign for you Reo and cancel the hold. That's what I have done. From Maine to my place in Texas, once shipped, takes 3 days.

Yes, you have to sign for it. Knowing that, you can make arrangements like pwheeler mentioned. If you're not there to sign for it, they'll leave a Slip you can sign and ask for re-delivery or pick-up at the P.O.

Took me 2 days of shipping time to get here in Killeen. Ordered Friday, shipped Friday night and got here Saturday night, delivered Monday.

Hmmm, will probably take another day to get to me then. The good news is, I will most likely be the first person in my town to have a REO. May just have it shipped to my work , that way there will be someone here to sign for it no matter what.

So is it possible to contact reo and have them ship it in a way thaqt does not require a signature? because i would never get that slip and well from the time i ordered it and the time that it came in and me to actually pick it could be up to a month lol.......seriously.....SUCKS!!!

As far as I know Robert will only ship with sig required. But you can PM him to be sure.

Others that are away for long periods of time have waited to order when they are almost home.

As far as the slip, you can pick one up from your P.O. and sign it ahead of time. It can then be used when the package comes.

Check with your P.O. and see what they can do. Holding all mail might be a option.
