I wanted a Kanger glass, or Aspire dual coil cheap clearo. Ended up with a Kanger E vod with the old wick sticking out single coil. I can't believe how well it works. Wondering if other BDC users have tried these 2 dollar coils? And what they think.
I've vaped on single coils since 2012, never felt any reason to change. But I also use them with old school hardware.
The problem is that they are not designed to work with higher powered hardware of today......even on an istick they were getting burnt up ..... single coils can't handle the voltage.
I haven't run it past 3.8, but it hits nice. Makes me wonder if I will stay with the bdc coils. If I run a low wattage I don't care. But your right, that can't handle much. Thanks for responding Racehorse. There may be a lot of us who still like the single coil.
yep, single coils work very well. I run 1.8ohm single coils in all my toppers. I run them up to and including 7.5 watts on my istick 30 watt. I get great taste and all the vapor I need to keep me happy.
I Have The 30, and Will Do The 7.5 With It now. A bit worried the evod will leak juice on my beloved 30 watt. But I think the ego adapter will stop that.
yep, the adapter will contain the leaks if they happen but I really don't have a leaking problem with my evods unless they crack. I have moved on to evod glass and have eliminated the cracking problem. You may not want to start at 7.5. It is best to start lower and work your way up.
