Well i just found a shop in Des Moines it is on 14th st. called Central Iowa Electronic Cigarettes. Im going to go visit the shop to see what they have i heard there juice is about 10 bucks a bottle. And there sign outside says joyetech so we will see what kind of goods they have to offer.
Stoped in the e cig shop in Des Moines today and was impressed very nice shop. They let me try any battery/cart combo to see what works best plus all the juice to sample was great. The people were super nice and very knowledgeable. Great store if you are in the Des Moines area.
I am excited to see this. They had a little clip on the news a couple of night's ago and it looked like a nice place. I hope to get down there and check it out in the next couple of weeks.
My husband and I visited Central Iowa E-Cigs yesterday. Nice shop, good inventory ranging from tiny joye 510's to the Joye Evic and more, friendly knowledgeable staff/owner. Was a busy place which was wonderful to see. We were impressed.

Nice thing is if u refer someone and they buy a kit u get a bottle of juice free. In my first 4 days of finding the shop iv gotten 5 free bottles .

oh ya going strong was just in there today. Search for them on fb for there hours its like 11 to 7 through the week.
Nice! For some reason I read your post and thought it was posted in 2012. Know how long they have been in business? What type of products are they selling?
Shop has been open since october last year i think. They have ego starters, twist, provari, lavatube, evic, mvp, zmax, passthroughs, eroll, nova's, mini nova's, dct tanks, stardust, and at my request getting some vamo's. Then there must be 80 or so juices to try and buy. Plus cases, batterys, chargers, drip tips. Hrmm im sure im missing a few things but that gives you a good idea. I did pick up my evic from them which is more than the internet but they give 90 days vs. 30 from most online sites. I had a bad atty and told them no ? asked they handed me a new one.
Hey guys, I had given up hope for a long time of finding other vapers in Des Moines. Then saw this post! I'll definitely check out the e-cig store. Would any of you be interested in starting a vapemeet in the area? I would like to get together with other vapers, and swap knowledge. Plus, it would be fun to make some new friends into vaping.
I went by the shop today, and was very impressed. They had different types of carto tanks, clearomizers, mods, plenty of juices to try. I had the fun of talking to the owner and a newbie buying his first mod. The only thing I found disappointing was that there was not enough help in the store. I wanted to buy some juice, but eventually gave up due to not being able to get someone to help me. I'll go back there again sometime during the week when they would be less busy.
Ya it is tuff at times to get help cause there are so many people going in the shop that have no clue about the stuff so they have to explaine it all to them. I go in enough they all know me and usually help me pretty quick since they know i come in and know what i want so they can get me out really quick.
I know a new e-cig store just opened up, try giving them a shot. Its called Great Alternatives

This store is still open....unfortunately. The owners are very inexperienced in the art of vaping. It's almost like going to a barber college for a haircut. You don't know what you are going to get!!
I have purchased from their store and received goods that were shipped to me as well.
The store experience was FAR from par. My shipping experience was horrible.
I was overcharged, and did not receive all of the product I paid for.
This so called "brick and mortar" has made me a more efficient online shopper. A vamo for $75.00? It was for the BODY only!
They tried to set it up for me and could not explain the VV, or VW. They just said it's better to find online instructions. HUH??????
There were plenty of customers in the shop when I have visited, but it was more of a social hour for the owners and employees. New, paying customers were shoved off to the side, and chit chat resumed with their friends who were not interested and making a purchase.
THIS IS PERSONAL OPINION ONLY! Online has become a better source for vaping for me.
If anyone is looking to provide customer service, open a vape shop and make a KILLING...do it in Des Moines.

I had to drop in and say thanks for posting up shop info for a place in des moines. I'm new to the area and interested in finding a local vendor. I'll second the motion for a vape meet. if anyone's interested lets get the ball rolling.

As far as I know, Vapor lounge is now called DMI Vapor. The guys there are definitely knowledgeable. Central Iowa E-Cigarettes is still open and has 3 locations (Check out the new Store directory, I just added them and should be up soon. Home - ECF E Cigarette Store Locator), and yes, most of the stuff they have there is overpriced. You pay for convenience, folks. But know this: Central Iowa E-Cigarettes has been more than helpful in my eyes when it comes to my vaping experience. I've had a few problems with my setup and I was in there EVERY. DAMN. DAY for about a week or two straight and every day, Aleisha (Works at the west location, the North Store is there home store) helped me out and got everything taken care of. I haven't been to Great Alternatives, but I've heard a few things about it and they've been nothing but good. Anyone else got any leads on any other stores?
