Totally excited about this, this is the last step to quitting smoking (I already have it down to about 1-2 a WEEK). I also think this will oddly enough, stop my eating habits at my desk at work (boss doesn't really care about e-cigs unless someone complains). I'm going to go to my local shop (E-Cig City 2 in Hawaiian Gardens) with my gf and her brother who are all going to get a setup too! I'm planning on getting a ZMAX or VAMO for now, and when tax return comes, really splurge and get some good stuff (including, of course, a Provari). Updates with pics when I get it! Super excited, ya'll don't even know haha.

I will admit, the Provari is a nice mod, but if you are on a tighter budget, then there are other options that are *nearly as good*. But, the provari is not for everyone. Personally me, the Lavatube V2 has 3 buttons, versus the one, and it is easier to dial in my voltage, check resistance, and battery life, than the annoying 1 button menu system on the provari. But, the provari is still a very nice, but pricey mod.

Well. Here's what I got (pics up later):

1x Lavatube? I hope it is. That's what the store said it was. Hopefully can be confirmed with pics
1x evic
2x all batteries for the mods
1x ego twist for when I need to carry around a lighter battery
1x carto tank (store only had one in stock :( )
2x vivi nova
1x ego twist (for the gf)
1x vivi nova (for the gf)

Flavors:
Yellow submarine
Guavatron
Tombstone
Honey do

All in all, we visited 3 different vape shops around our area and met a lot of awesome people. Really loving how vaping is become a new culture/lifestyle in SoCal. IDK if this is the same as in other places, but Its pretty awesome.

I already have a Provari on order, and might also order that ZMAX. Haha. So my budget kinda went through the roof. Oh well. Maybe I got a tad bit too excited. But all together we spent around $220 for everything (minus the Provari I ordered). You guys think this is good enough to start off with? Anything you would add? Flavors you would suggest based on what I've already got?

I would stop the equipment ordering and start the never ending juice search. As far as flavors you need to buy what the vendor specializes in, I can only tell you what I personally like.

Backwoods Brew is my Tobacco Flavor Vendor of Choice

BlackVelvet Vapor, Fuzion Vapor, Rawr Vapor, and Alien Visions are my fruit / sweets vendors (This is what I vape 99% of the time)

Tasty Vapor is my value priced liquid and odd flavor vendor, you get tons for your cash and its good stuff (They also have some pretty famous unique flavors)

I wouldn't buy big bottles, get sample packs containing 10ml or so bottles if possible and try as many different types as you can. You don't want to order 5 melon flavors, try getting a range so you can figure out what you like best. You may also pickup a 306 atomizer and drip tip to test flavors so you don't have to fill an entire tank up (some need to steep so you don't want to over commit to it).

GL on your adventure :D

I like the Vivi nova tanks. Easy to refill, they're rebuildable, and I can draw plenty of flavor from it. If you don't want to deal with carto tanks, then I would suggest this tank. My gf is very low-tech and it takes her a while to learn new technology, but she picked up using the Vivi nova easily. Plus, you can use drip tips with the, if you're into the whole customization thing.

You might need a few more batteries. You should wait at least an hour before putting the batt on the charger and at last one hour after charging before using said batt.

Don't buy inexpensive batts. You are safest with the more expensive batts........Mods pull a lot out of a battery, and don't forget that any ecig is very close to your face. Better safe than sorry..........
