short and quick USB question

So i've been seeing USB passthroughs everywhere. Obviously you plug it into your comp and it charges. My question is, can you smoke it while charging on the USB? Is there a difference in the performance?

It's designed to be left plugged into the USB port all of the time.

And yes, you will get better performance from it if it is plugged into the port. The effective voltage from the battery will be a bit higher and you'll get more power to the atomizer.

It actually does not charge. You use the passthru instead of a battery.

so you take off the battery and put the atomizer and cart on the usb passthrough?

Right, you use it instead of a battery. That way you get a consistent and often higher voltage and you save the charge cycles on the batteries. Some passthroughs do have an inline battery which will work unplugged from the USB, but they are meant to stay plugged in.
