Maybe this is dumb but it drives me crazy and has for some time now. I can not get my atomizers to face the way I want them to on my mods unless I leave it loose. Is there a trick I am missing? I do not like to leave it loose and I am afraid to over tighten it and :censored: up the threads, I just imagine what happened when I did my first oil change and used the filter wrench to put the oil filter back on good and tight.

All I can suggest is a shim (washer) between the atomizer and the mod. To move it 180 degrees, you will need a shim 1/2 the thread pitch.

Sadly, I don't know where you would find such a shim, and I doubt it would be worth the trouble and expense of fabricating one from shim stock.

I guess you've gotten some good suggestions. Mine would be to not OCD over it like that, but I'm like that. If it's a cool logo though, I guess I can understand your frustration, but yeah, you are going to have to use some sort of a spacer, I'd probably start with the extra O-ring solution, personally.

I've overtightened atties and yeah, the results usually suck, even when it's as simple as "how am I going to get this loose." LOL.

Good luck and I hope something works out for you.

I've been Shimming many of my Atomizers for a Long Time. Not so much to change the Direction they point, but to fill up the Gap that many of my Atomizers have between the Mod and the Atomizer Base.

I've found Many Things around the House that worked. From CD/DVD Sleeves to Plastic File Folder Covers to Racing Bike Inner Tubes. Simply Punch a Hole with a Paper Hole Punch and then cut an OD Circle to size.

Then I found these and their Small cost kinda made doing DIY Shims seem silly.

KP Mod Guard 5 Pack- Various Sizes

ETA - If you Shim some Atomizers that have No Gap when screwed on a Mod, they might not make a good Contact with the Mod's 510 Center Pin.

So for someone like the OP, they might want to test out whether shimming Might or Might Not work by using some Paper or a Thin Business Card before they buy anything.

It is not so much the logo as it is the air flow needs to be horizontal, but that is not OCD that is just attention to details

Personally I don't worry about it. However, depending on the mod, it might be possible to rotate the 510 connector on the mod itself, by removing the screws holding it in place, rotating it, then replacing the screws. If the 510 has 4 screws you can rotate in increments of 90 degrees, if 2 screws the you can only rotate 180 degrees. If it is glued in you can dissolve the glue rotate it to wherever you want and re-glue it.
