hello everyone!

so i've recently been gifted an ego winder (1300 mAh model) starter kit and it came with the standard clearomizer tanks you get with a starter kit (i think ce4? single coil top atomizer). i used those for a while, staying under 3.6 volts and vaping in spurts through the day. the fluid is at 18 ml (or mg?) nicotine and i am unsure of the base.

when i decided i wanted a new tank or four, i did a little digging, and there were a lot of positive reviews for the kanger t3s (among others.) i should let you know that my intended purpose for an ecig is to puff and go - i am not looking for a fiddly hobby, just to soothe my nicotine cravings for the winter and cutting back on cigarettes.

well, i got one and it looks absolutely beautiful. it feels so much more solid than the clearomizers that came with the winder kit. it was very easy to fill - no problems taking off the bottom and avoiding filling the middle tube, no syringe, and also inebriated. i let it soak overnight, standing straight up on my nightstand, and when i woke up i plugged it right onto my battery, and took a few pulls without activating the battery. not sure why i did that, but i was able to "taste" the flavor of my juice, so i assumed it was good to go.

the first hit i took was flawless. no gurgling, dry hit, or anything else. i noticed a huge difference in the amount of "pull" i had to take - the t3s requires almost zero effort to get a large quantity of vapor, where as a same sized pull on the standard tank would be hot and uncomfortable. also, the flavor is, to me, a little bit stronger. i have not had any leaking issues so far - but perhaps i tend to be overly careful with my toys.

anyways, i would say that this was a very smart buy for me, a newbie vaper. i am not sure if i would recommend it to anyone right as of this moment since i am currently also testing the mt3 and the iclear 30s.

so, is this an acceptable review?

If its your first review not to bad! I ran and sometimes still do run my t3s and totally agree on the ease of filling especially when inebriated lol!

After you vape on it a while and want a little more out of it you can look up on doing a micro coil cotton build on it. That's when it got a whole lot more enjoyable and fun for me! Btw welcome to the ecf!

I placed an order for a t3s carto last night, im currently using the evod and they work great but it would be nice to have a bit bigger tank, the one im getting should hold up to 3 ml which is perfect for me. I currently use about 2 evod tanks @ 1,6 ml per day, so if i like the t3s i could start using it instead and only have to fill one clearomizer a day instead of 2.

I got a T3S about a month ago. I was using an EVOD and a Kanger T2.

I really liked the higher capacity and visibility of the juice level in the T2, but found the EVOD's bottom coil system more user friendly. The T3S looked like the best of both worlds.

I have to say I was disappointed. Out of the box it gave an awful plastic taste. After a bit of experimentation, it was the vapour tube carrying the offensive taste. I managed to get it out by alternating ~1 hour soapy water and clean water soaks (8 soaks in total).

With the plastic flavour gone, I put it up against my EVOD and I have to say the EVOD won hands down. The flavour through my T3S is muted in comparison to the EVOD (1.8 Ohm coils in both), and the draw is so airy on the T3S that I have to have at least one of the three air holes covered to get a decent draw. The vape quality seems to be a bit inconsistent; every now and then I will randomly encounter a burnt draw.

Not sure if I got a dud T3S - I can't see any obvious signs of it being fake having looked at a few guides.

In the end I just ordered a Protank 2, which I've found to be far superior to the T3S in every aspect (as expected given the price difference). I don't use the T3S at all any more and would not recommend it based on my experiences. I would be interested to know how the MT3 compares though.

Nice review! I'm up to over 12 T3Ss that I use for daily e-juice switching. None have ever given me a strange taste (outside of the burnt taste we all can get starting out). To enhance your taste even further you can try replacing the 2 flavor wicks with a piece of cotton yarn. When any of my coils finally go bad (none have yet) I will rebuild those with cotton as well. The difference in taste with the cotton is remarkable.
