Haha! Maxx, I wish I could help you. I'm an XL guy. I bought a shorty and it wouldn't even last an hour for me. I'm a constant vaper.
The regulars don't even last me an hour JD, all I do is vape! I kill between 2-4 cartos a day, 4 if I am drinking and 2 if im just at work.
I have a regular short batt and it last may 8 hours the shorties they are nice but they don't last long at all. I'm a XL person. I got a XL black in my last order and I put some juice in my silver carto and let me tell you talking about slick that is awesome looking.

For the past few weeks I have been buying the "New! Vapor King Short Battery". I bought 4 of them. This week I ordered a fifth one and it is very different from the previous four. It is about a quarter inch shorter, different airhole design, ash LED different....and backside logo is missing the crown (just says vapor-king Vapor4life). Is this something very new....or something very old? It also doesn't match the shorties I was buying just before V4L added the "New" line of shorties.

Maxx last I heard the newest shorties are the one's with the crown on them...I just made a order a week or 2 ago and requested all batts be the newest I like the air flow on them and 3 out of 4 were the ones with crowns on them and the pink one I got 4 my wife was the older style how old who knows,but it only has V4L logo on it...also the hole at batt connection is larger than newer ones,but same size and led the same.With that being said I do have some reg batts that have the V4L LOGO ON 1 side with vapor king vapor4life on the other side and I think they are the one's prior to the one's with crown on them and after the one's with just the logo on them.CONFUSED NOW!

The black and white colors were the shortest of the short batteries that were available from v4l up until around April of this year. They came before the new batteries with the crown logos, but I'm not sure if there was another style in between or not.
I had a few of these which were traded because the draw was too airy for me. I did not purchase another short battery until the current style with the improved airflow and crown logo came out.
So I believe you got an old battery, but not a really old battery.

I don't like this old design....and thought I was getting the same one I had been ordering for the last few weeks (New! Vapor King Short Battery)...they are the best. This other one, which apparently is an older model.....sorta sucks. Gotta figure that whoever was filling orders grabbed the wrong one....but then again, you can't even buy this old one on the website, so why not remove them from the stock area? Set up a table on the sidewalk outside and sell them off at half price or something....or hurl them at passing cars.

There are only two types: The ones working for you and the ones that aren't. Oh - and the third type: The ones that may or may not work for you in the future...
