Should E-Liquid manufacturers be pushed to fully label ingredients?

If you pay close attention a lot of the vendors that are used by the people here do list the basic ingredients like PG, VG, nicotine strength etc. The flavorings are 90% of the time LorAnne or any of the popular food flavorings used in cakes and deserts. If you so worried about what's in them buy yourself the ingredients from sources you trust and mix it yourself, it looks to me like you're trying to start drama where it's not needed. I'd also like you to try this argument with Phillip Morris and see what response you get with them.

Cigarettes aren't in the process of trying to be banned.
Ecigs are.
"Fair" doesn't really affect "reality".
If we all want to help stop that hiding in a closet saying "we like it how it is you're all being meanies, stop" isn't the solution.

It isn't about what I like or what you like it's about what lawmakers and the general public think, whether you agree it's needed or not.

It isn't about starting drama or not. It's about wanting to continue to vape. Ignoring current events aren't going to make them disappear. The IS a movement to ban ecigs in many areas, poor labeling and quality control just adds more logs to that fire. I want to continue to be able to vape. LEGALLY. If that means a few manufacturers adding common allergen disclosures, having batch labeling and being required to keep sale databases, and even charging a bit more for childproof caps, I'm more than willing to pay a few more dollars a bottle.

"A lot of vendors" isn't good enough. A few bad apples out there that don't are more than enough for the FDA and state bodies to pounce on as a "rampant health risk" to push for banning. If we don't want that then WE as responsible consumers need to push ALL vendors to accept some common standards.

YES! By all means.
The ingredients of any product we ingest into our bodies should be truthfully disclosed on the label along with the country of origin. The fact that a lot of this stuff comes from China makes me nervous given their abysmal track record on quality control with so many other products, as we know.

I know I'm a dirty smoker (former!) and by definition, must not care about what I put in my body, but I do. To me, the most uncomfortable aspect of vaping is I have VERY LITTLE information as to what is in the e-liquid and where it is coming from. I feel this is a basic disclosure requirement as to any consumable product.

I think liquid manufacturers should label their ingredients of their own volition. The point of switching to e-cigs is that they're healthier for you, and it would be to the manufacturers credit to show their confidence in their product by listing the ingredients they use and the sources they buy them from. They also might benefit from this financially because I'd imagine some e-cig users or smokers thinking of switching would prefer to buy from a manufacturer who's open and honest about their ingredients.

I'm 100% behind this as well and thinking why aren't they?? and have been for some time now, with no regulation what so ever on this there are always some bad business people in the pack as well as the good and without knowing what is in your liquids some suppliers could be cutting corners or just adding whatever they want right now. I mix my own for the most part now and have been for months and buy my supplies from only very reputable places.
