should i buy a new v2, then sell my v1?

i currently have a black chrome red led provari v1, i really really want a provari v2 black satin with blue LED. should i buy it and sell my v1 when it comes to help recoup some of the money? cant afford to keep them both or i would. my only issue really lies in how much could i sell my v1 for? my OH has pretty much OK'd the whole thing under the pretense that i will be able to sell my v1. im just not sure how much of the money i can recoup doing this. i wanted the black with blue LED in the first place, but i was impatient, and as soon as i bought this one, they announced the v2 which kinda made me mad. what would you do?​

Since you cannot afford to have two and you want a V2, you might consider just sending it in and for $20 they will upgrade it for you. Then if you still want to sell it you will get more for it. Good luck whichever you decide.

i only want a v2 because its the only way to get the blue led and satin finish i want, i don't use DCC's or LR stuff anyways, so the v2 isnt important to me. just the finish and the LED, mainly the finish, they announced the black satin 2 days after i bought my black chrome.

you sure about that? they told me they wont do the blue led upgrade, just the v2
