should I get a 510 or chuck/SB/other mod?

I started with the Blu; I absolutely hate it. What especially drives me nuts is how inconsistent it it is: the first puff off of a new cartridge is great, but the subsequent ones are less and less consequential, ending with absolutely nothing. I ended up trying to drip and killed the battery (later reading that's not the best idea w/ automatic batteries).

I really want something that I can puff on repeatedly w/ no change in quality, and something that, preferably, has a good battery life. I'm not sure whether I should go ahead and get a Chuck, a Silver Bullet, or something else, or just try a 510.

Any opinions on the best equipment to get a consistent, quickly-repeatable hit? I don't want to spend a fortune, but I'd rather invest more (now that I know that I like vaping) than purchasing several models over the next few months that are all inadequate.

Really appreciate any suggestions! Specific model and vendor suggestions would be great, too.

The inconsistancy has nothing to do with the battery holder (mod) it has to do with the cartridge. Do a search on cartridge mods and go with a 510 manual to start with. Make sure vaping is for you before you spend the money on a mod. Ecigs aren't for everyone.

I started off with a Npro and was dissapointed with the performance especially the battery life. I got a cheapy 510 kit and was sold that vaping was for me but I still had similar problems with battery life. If you decide that e-cigs are for you, I would invest in a good 510 kit with a USB passthrough. To solve my battery problems I upgraded to a TW Tornado and I have to say, 8 hours of vaping on one battery has helped me overcome my biggest obstacle. Now all I have left to figure out is the right e-liquid. Hope you find the right hardware/software combo for you!!! Good Luck!!!

I'd say start with a Vapor King from V4L.... My wife LOVES hers....

She graduated from a Blu to it and is very, very, happy with it....

i started with a SmokeEverywhere 51-trio, then i got a 510 about 3 days later after soem research. Then 2 weeks after that i ordered a chuck. I'm still waiting for it, i ordered it on 2/14. should be here any day! I've read so much good stuff about them, and a 3.7v battery on the chuck will last you 2-3 days. You can also use 2 3v batteries to do some high voltage vaping. And if you have a chuck, you can buy the adapter and try all of the different attomizers if you don't like the 510. he sells the adapters on the thagbuilt page.

And if you do get a 510, make sure you get a personal charging case. I carry the 510 around with me all day. I keep one fully assembled one in a pen case, and vape on that til the battery is dead, by the time that battery is dead i have a fully charged one in the PCC. Then repeat.

For good battery life with 510 attys, try the Janty eGo/Totally Wicked Tornado (same thing). It's a really nice device.
