I posted this in the other Reo forum, but I just realized this is the main reo forum here (I think), so here is the thread again: (mods, feel free to delete the other one if you wish, sorry):

Hey guys. I started vaping again back in May 2013, and haven't looked back since. I started with a few ego twist batteries, a kanger pro tank, some cartos, and an evod.

I've been through tons of clearos, and now I can't stand them. They are inconsistent at best, and I can hardly ever get them working like I want.

Right now I'm using an MVP2.0, with 2 IBTanked carto tanks. That is the best setup I've found thus far, out of everything I've tried. I have a kayfun lite clone on the way, and I'm hoping for good results.

Basically, I just want a nice, stable mod and delivery device. I want something that will be easy to use, easy to set up, and will deliver powerful, full vapor, with an intense and full flavor.

Should I go ahead and invest in a REO + RM2? I'm seriously considering it, based on all the positive feedback I keep hearing.

check, check, check. Check, check, check, check, check.

Yes.

You cannot get more bullet proof than a REO Grand + RM2. It just works, all day, every puff. It may take a day or two to get completely familiar with squonking and coil building/placement but once you get it right there is no more fiddling, nothing that beats it.

Of course I'll say yes. Spend a little time reading through the threads here in Reoville. You'll notice one of the friendliest, helpful groups of people on the net. You'll also notice post after post all say the basic same thing.

1. This is amazing
2. why did I wait so long
3. not using my other stuff need to sell it to buy more Reos

Don't think I could survive without my Provari. I don't know if I could go without any of my other mods. I use them all. I like to switch. It makes things interesting. But I know I wouldn't want to go without my Reo. It makes everything easy. I'm NOT into tanks. I'm NOT into buying expensive toppers that cost as much as a whole new mod. I'm not going to buy a $50 kayfun clone just so I can keep 5ml of juice on my mod instead of keeping a bottle in my back pocket and an RDA on my mod. So my REO is turning into the only device I have that is capable of holding juice. I don't have to keep dripping into it, and the juice holding capacity was in the price of the REO, NOT in the price of the tank that I had to buy for the Reo ON TOP of the REO's price!!!!!!!!! The Reo is a great mod. As long as you take care of it, it'll take care of you. Its the only mod on the market that you can literally buy a kit to fix it if it ever breaks. The Provari, the BuzzPro, SuperT, GLV... And REOS MODS are the only US-MADE mods, and you can send them in to get FIXED! So if you think that all sounds cool, then a REO is in your future.

Plus, I don't know if your single... But I have taken a poll with each girl that I've dated/had over, and they all largely prefer the REO to any of my other mods lol. The Reo doesn't seem so intimidating. They can see the juice in the bottom. They think they understand how it works, lol. So there's that. :p

Well guys, I'm sold :) It truly does sound like what I'm looking for. The fact that it is so durable is a huge bonus too, since I vape at work on my breaks, and occasionally my mod will fall on the concrete floor (not often, it HAS and WILL happen though).

My next question:

Which one do you guys recommend? Or can you point me to a thread that discusses the difference? I also read someone say in another thread that the web-site isn't always updated, and that if I contact the owner, he might have ones in stock that actually say sold out on the site. Is this true?

Thanks for such quick replies guys!

I own two Reo Mods, a mini and Grand, and am more than satisfied. The RM2 Atty is by far the easiest to build/ rebuild out there. Having said all that, it is a mechanical mod so your experience will depend on your skill at building the coils for the atty. As an alternate, you may want to look at the Billet Box. It is a carto tank mod with vv that is very compact and rugged. Both are American made. Many people substitute a Diver RBA for the carto in the tank so that would be a extra expense. The Diver also requires use of NR-r- NR wire. The downside to the Billet Box is they are only available form the manufacturer and tend to sell out within minutes, so acquiring one can be a challenge. I like both mods for different reasons, but would not be without either. Along with my Provari Mini, they are the core of my vaping life.

You won't regret it. Links will be along shortly...

Grand gets you 6ml juice without changing, and an 18650 battery. A lot of us fearlessly leave the house with NOTHING spare.

Mini 2.1: A little smaller, rocks a 18490 battery, and 3ml juice. I need a spare battery and juice bottle with me on this one. Still very trouble free.

ETA mini 14500:Not made anymore, get it used later as an add on to your collection for TINY stealth vaping that still kicks like the big boys.

You can't go wrong. Personally, I have a laptop bag with me at all times, so a battry or juice bottle is no issue.

Depends (and hi, fellow Georgian!). I started with a Grand, thought I'd want the 6 mls of juice and larger battery, but found that I enjoy the mini much more for my hands, and I like changing my juices more frequently than every 6 mls.

My Grand was being neglected while my mini's saw all the love. It worked out though, I traded my Grand with another member here and we both now have the REO(s) we wanted and best suited us.

Oh - and by the way - I have two KFL+ clones that are not being used at all now. I haven't touched my Provari in about a month now. And I sold my MVP2 after about 2 weeks of use - my REO arrived before it did, and it couldn't compete with my REO.

Read all you want, all over ECF.

You'll find threads about the trials and tribulations of all sorts of devices. People dealing with gurgling, leaking, dry hits, muted flavor, lack of vapor production, primer puffs, priming etc etc.

You'll also find that the vast majority of Reo users end up only using their Reo after getting one, and the only users with a worry in the world are beginners learning the basics of a dead-on simple RM2 set-up. (and the people here will bend over backwards to help a beginner out)

Bullet Proof.

I'm not sure you'll find anyone else recommending that you get one, but I would :D

I followed a very similar journey as you describe - everything from egos to provari's, cartos to kayfuns - and I'm hear to tell you that everything you want in a device is in the reo. Everything.

As for model, I recently picked up a mini 2.1 to go with my grand - both are stellar. The grand is my workhorse - bigger juice capacity, larger battery - great for all day out. The mini hits just as hard and is very portable for shorter travel. Size shouldn't be real factor, as both are compact.

You can also kick the grand if you really wanted, so you can build in some protection and regulation. You can also repair or replace most every part (quite cheaply), something no other device is going to offer, but one of the best features is the community that surrounds it - the best on ECF.

All that other gear I own? Um... now where is that other gear... it was here just a minute ago...

You won't be disappointed! And if you are, say so here and you'll get squared away with what ails you with the REO! That in itself is why I'm sticking with the REO and only the REO....well there plenty of other things I love about it but the REOmaster and the army of awesome REOnauts is the biggie!!
I'm sure all the other box mods, mechs, and tubes are nice and fit their niche nicely but it is the REO that won my heart after researching everything under the sun to replace the eGos I started out on.

It will all come together once you have one your hand and behold the quality vape it produces!
