If you don't mind going a bit bigger it's a great choice, some people that buy the Blu are hung up on cig size but if that's not the case then yes it would be a HUGE upgrade.

Non proprietary batteries that cost less, last longer and a true 3.7 vape. You also be able to use low resistance and dual core with it if you wish which you could never do with a Blu Battery. Much better more capable performer in every way.

The e-power will outperform the Blu. You can use 510 atty's and carto's. The unit will be bigger than what you are used to but it will also be better. It is essentially a Riva with the ability to change the internal battery. I run AW type batts in my MOD's and have been using a AW 14500 in the e-power I picked up. For the price the unit is pretty good. Machining could be a little better and you will need to put a lubricant like Noalox on the threads. In a pinch a light dab of vaseline will do. The only downside here is if you do not own a MOD already you will need to get some batts and a charger.

The E-power is a huge step up from the BLU. It will blow you away how much better it perfoms, in battery life, vapour production, throat hit and cost (both in terms that the unit is actually about the same if not less then a BLU starter kit with PCC and in terms of not paying silly money for BLU issued cartomizers).

If I could turn back time I'd defo have skipped past the whole super mini / cig lookalike stage. If I could have started out with an e-power from the off, I'd have been a very happy Vaper!

While better than the blu, if you can afford a few more dollars I say get a better mod. The epower seems to have some issues, there is a thread on here somewhere which I wish I had read before I bought 2 of them (larger size). I hate fiddling with it to get it to work. Whatever works for you is the way to go and I like trying different ones even if some are not to my liking.

Another happy e-power user here. I have the 14650 model and although I'm locked at 3.7 volts with those batteries, there's a wide range of attys and cartos that I can experiment with to find my sweet spot. At the moment I'm using the Bauway 510 XL CE2 Style and I'm pretty happy with them. Pros for the e-power are it's modular design, side button, cone, and 510 connection. The cone is important to me because it reinforces the plastic cartos when I use those. I haven't dropped it, but I'm pretty sure that if I did drop it, I could pick it back up and keep on vapin' and the cone is a part of that. A couple of good vendors for them are hoosierecigsupply and madvapes among others.

Edit: Also, the cone fits over the 'fatter' clearos. Yah! :vapor:

The e-Power is a Smoktech product that's fairly new. I don't own one, but I have their catalog and a lot of people seem to like it and its VERY affordable.

The reported issues, I believe, are the tact switch sticking and regulator connection problems...correct? The 14650 & the 18650 are the same design, same internals, just one is bigger than the other.

And I dunnow if you're interested, but I saw another thread talking about the KSD-639. Its an e-Go VV with a battery capacity LED and an enclosed Fluxomixer tank mod, all in one!

Its sweet lookin' for a Chinese MOD!!

The actual manufacturer is still in question, however.....

my viewpoint as an e-power 14650 owner is....yes, it is an upgrade from your blu-
could you get a better quality vape for equal or less money...yes.
It isn't exactly high quality-and i have posted on this forum in a few places my thoughts on the button-
if you can shell out a bit more money and want to step into something similar, save the money you would have spent
on the epower and get a quality mod-
if you are looking for something within the price range of the e-power....
hell, the indulgence looks like a better buy.
Then there are Ego kits, and Rivas.

if you are dead set on getting an epower...find a vendor that sells the 14500 battery tube version, quality batteries of that size are easier to find.

My wife uses a lot of 14500 batteries so I plan on picking up a tube for my e-power, but unless you're using them already, I'd stick with the 14650. Several vendors have them at decent prices.

Another option might be the 14670 battery. It's slightly longer but you could probably collapse the spring a little and make it work.

If you're still looking around a little, have you looked at the vapage vmod? It uses a proprietary atty but the attys are reasonably priced and it's been getting some good reviews. One review showed a couple of small 3v batts being used for 6v vaping. I'm thinking one of those might be in my future lol.
