wait you said vt nic? what is vt nic?

And yeah I was going to do that also i just figured that if i stuck with one brand of flavor i could get better with mixing at first because i know how that flavor work.....what do you think?

That's a lot of flavors to start off with and Blusier is correct. If your going to buy that many flavors you should sample from different manufactures. I for one know that TFA are difficult flavors for the new DYI'er to work with. I would recommend spreading it out between TFA, Hangsen, FA, Capalla and inawera. Another thing is so may flavors tend to overload your thought process and cause most of the flavors to never get open or used. So my recommendation is to carefully think about what you want to vape and start off small. This way if you find DYI fustrating or not for you then you didn't just waste your money on all that stuff.

I also want to add that your really over buying your mixing equipment. All you need to start off with is a few (10) 5 - 10ml bottles to make your samples a few 1oz bottles to store your finished mix a few syringes (2 of each) 1ml w/ 20-22ga needle, 3ml used same needle as 1ml, 10ml w/ 14ga needle and maybe a 50ml measuring cylinder.

If you find DYI is for you then you can splurge.

Also make sure you get a good e-juice calculator like the E-juicemeup calculator.

Yeah no that makes perfect sense I just was worried because its very hard to get anything shipped to me that i can easily go pickup lol so i just didnt want to run out but is that the proper glassware? and labware?

VapersTek nic. If I had to chose one brand it would be FlavourArt. JMO

Sweet i will give them a try also and mix and match some of my flavors

I've become a seasoned mixer with just the tools that I've recommended. What you have listed is all correct but in my opinon overkill. I also used an ultrasonic cleaner to steep my mixes but again thats overkill for you at this point. If you have the cash and are not worried about spending it while not knowing if DYI is even right for you then sure go for it. But if a month down the road you quit DYI and start thinking why did I waste all this money on this. Then go with what I recommend because the less you spend the less it will hurt in the pocketbook..

+1 on every ounce of advice above :) I have a pile of unused mix ware that is totally unnecessary and tfa flavors that are NOT so amusing. Breaking up the different flavor companies is extremely wise. You can use a site like bullcity or ecigxpress to order flavors from a variety of vendors.

I use TFA marshmallow and whipped cream out of like 80 of their flavors, I find other than marshmallow and whipped cream - flavourart and inawera have much more realistic and easier to work with flavors.

If you want to get a large quantity to keep shipping easy try something more like -

Nic, Pg, VG and Inawera flavors in a vaperstek.org order and then a spattering of bottles and syringes (I use 3ml, 10ml and 30ml syringes religiously) (pipettes are useless pains IMO-YMMV) an some TFA and Flavourart flavors from Bull City Vapor - Best Prices on DIY e-liquid Supplies

If you check the Inawera and Flavourart threads here - you will see details from members on each flavor so you can narrow down what you may want as well. (example - instead of ordering TFA coffee, coffee kona and cappucino - you may find one great coffee flavor (*cough*cough* Inawera Coffee*) and then you can also mix it with a cream and another flavor to totally change that one flavor into cappucino from plain coffee :D.

I hope the above makes sense :) Getting an overwhelming amount of flavors from only one company can be a bit disheartening - especially when they are a bit more testy to work with. Try a variety and you are bound to end up with some tasty results :)

I got about 4 1ml, 5ml syringes and one 10 ml syringe. One of the 5ml is strictly for nicotine and is marked as such. I cover the markings with tape to prevent them from washing off or fading and I wash them thoroughly after each mixing session.

I got a couple of those pipettes, but have never used them. Tried once but they were a pain so I use syringes.

I do not use any mixing vials. I mix in the bottle, 5ml for test samples, 30 ml for ones I like and vape a lot. I have a bunch of 15ml bottles from commercial mixes that I have used (just wash them out and reuse).

Good luck and enjoy! It becomes addictive!!

if you know your own personal flavor profile, perhaps do some research on what other DIY people are using in their recipes.

You will probably find some flavors from specific manufacturers that are being used in all kinds of different recipes... on my end, it's things like TFA graham cracker, whipped cream, etc...

On my main flavors, it was Capella's Vanilla Custard and some chocolates like Flavorwest Double Dutch Twister and Capella Double Chocolate and finally, Loranne Bavarian Cream...

regardless, it will help you nail down some of the real things you need to have in order to get you started...

I picked up a few cheap syringes at TSC, but the needles were sharp, and I just snip the ends off.

The TFA flavors I use the most are:

Graham Cracker (Clear)
Cheesecake (Graham Crust)
Brown Sugar Extra
Marshmallow
Whipped Cream
Vanilla Swirl
Sweet Cream
Blueberry Wild
Orange Cream
Cinnamon Danish
Root Beer Float is pretty good too

These are the essential flavors for me anyway IMO.
So... just trying to help you narrow it down a bit.

Capella, Inawera, FlavorArt, VZ, and Hangsen all have "essentials" too, but too numerous to list here.

Good Luck

4. X20 3ml plastic bottles with dripper cap= $7.40
5. X20 5ml plastic bottles with dripper cap= $7.80
6. X20 10ml plastic bottles with dripper cap= $9.80
7. X100 15ml plastic bottles with dripper cap= $54.00
8. X10 30ml glass dripper bottles= $11.90

Thats 170 bottles. I've been DIYing for a few months and I've only needed about 35.

As long as you arent ordering a supply to last longer than ~2 years - just keeping it out of the warmth and direct sun is fine. The freezer storage is mostly for folks ordering a supply to last for copious amounts of time.
