I tried asking about this before, but i couldn't get an answer

I made sure not to get liquid in the middle airflow hole in the top, but for some reason when i fill up my tank the hole in the bottom has droplets coming from it. When i blow through the top i hear a gurgling and some liquid comes out the bottom. I tried taking it all apart drying putting it all back together and refilling and still i get a little gurgling when i blow through.

Is this a problem?

The bottom may not be sealing is another possibility or you may be overfilling as i did the first time i filled mine the only other time mine leaked i did not get the bottom on properly and lost juicer as it sat over night. The first thing i would do tho is look at the o-rings like Invididual said

I took it apart again, checked all the seals, and its all in working order again

Through determination and repetition its now tight and dry as can be with no gurgling or anything that sounds 'wrong' It must have been from the last time i opened it up i didn't screw it all back together quite as well as when i first got it.

although now i'm very determined to keep it vertical so it doesn't go in the wick holes if it gets tipped.

thanks again

I use the min all the time, in the last 2 weeks it's all I've used, on my cruddy lavatube. The issue you describe is a pet hate of mine and it affects all tanks and clearomizers of this type I've used. The problem seems to be if you lay your device on it's side, juice wicks into the airflow tube. Also, as previously mentioned it is worse if you fill too close to the 2.00ml line as it can wick down even if standing up. I've found not overfilling and stand your device up is the best cure, not much help if it's in your pocket though :(

This was the answer i was looking for!

It's obviously not supposed to do what it was doing, but i couldn't for the life of me figure out why or how it could happen. After i cleaned it out and filled it back up i was ...... that it might have been faulty, or worse that i had broken it when i cleaned it out previously.

As i said i took it all apart and let it sit to get bone dry(and a hair dryer for added benefit) and filled it below the halfway mark, and that settled it. I can tip it a bit and I've run it through some stress tests turning it upside down, shaking, filling as close to the wicks as i can, with no problems. I still won't go past 1.5ml if i'm going to have it my pocket though just in case.

I was wondering what that little round thing above the coil could be for, i imagine it's there to limit these kinds of shenanigans :\

Thank you

As with most beginners i imagine you end up reading a lot of material from a lot of sources. And i remember reading somewhere that even though it said 2.0ml that you could actually fill it past that mark. At the time(before i owned one) i thought hey this will be great, i won't have to refill it every time i want a vape. This is also why i originally thought that a cartomizer would be best because i wouldn't need to refill or drip every time.

Personally, I think you purchased old stock, when the mini vivi was first released here(UK) Cloud9vapers were the only one's stocking them. They withdrew them from sale almost immediately for Exactly this reason: the seals at the bottom of the vivi were not fat enough and they leaked. They waited what seemed like ages for new seals to be sent to them. No problems with leaking mini vivi's anymore.
You should speak to your vendor. They could/should provide you with a new seal.

I have both the 3.5ml vivi nova v2.5 and a few mini nova's. The reg vivi nova leaks through the 510 connection. I never overfill and the head and top bottom caps are secure. I know when it leaks when i hear it gurgle as i vape from it. I think its a faulty nova and its really annoying when juice is leaking all over my hands. I since replaced it with a mini nova and it never leaks. i dont hear of many who has the same problems as us so i think we got some defects. Also mine was a real one not a knockoff if that mattrs
