Should the mouthpiece & atty extender come with a new GG UFS?

Hello everyone. My GG UFS arrived today but it is a little different from what I was expecting. I’ve tried to do some research to establish what should be ‘in the box’ but I’m getting increasingly confused so was wondering if anyone out there could shed a little light on the situation for me. The UFS is the very latest version and I was led to believe that a black plastic mouthpiece was to be included (it was shown in the picture on the dealers site). A couple of reviews have mentioned that the black plastic one is included but I would need to pay extra for the metal version. The second item in question is the atty extender; it’s not there either even although a couple of reviews have mentioned that it forms part of the kit (although the dealer does say it’s not included because it’s not needed). It most certainly is needed if I’m going to get any of my existing attys to fit in the UFS! If anyone can shed any light on whether these items should have formed part of the deal I’d be most grateful for your advise before I make a complete fool of myself with the seller. Its exclusion seems uncharacteristically mean of Imeo, especially given that I cannot locate either item anywhere in the known universe at this moment in time which is not a reassuring start on the road to (hopefully) UFS utopia.

One final point; how do you register a GGTS serial number on the Wiki site? Any ideas? Thanks, again, for your time.

You need to get 5 posts so you can post in the GG sub forum. But I can have them add you if you tell me your serial number.

As for your origional question. The UFS that was reciently for sale was the MK2 the MK2 was different in a few ways from the first version. For starters it came with a stainless steel connector instead of the plated brass of the first run. Also it came with both the SS and clear window. And finally it came with the new UFS top cap. The new top cap will allow you to use any length atty or carto and you use your own drip 510 or 901 drip tip. Because of the addition of the SS window and the change of the connector Imeo decided not to include the atomizer extender and Derlin screw in mouthpiece to keep the cost down.

That being said the atomizer extender and screw in mouthpiece are not needed. If you use a standard length atomizer you just take out the metal ring directly above the window portion. Instead screw the second metal piece that normally goes above the window directly onto the window and the little top cap onto that and insert a drip tip. If you are using a carto or any larger atty or carto you would use both pieces.

I hope this has helped but if not the GG subforum has a lot of helpful into.

Also as for the picture on the vendors site is a picture of the first version.

Hello & welcome to ECF Lahoof :)

I'm also in the UK & mainly use GG's but don't have a UFS. The GG sub-forum will be a great help to you when you get your post count up so you can post on there :D

I'm struck by the friendliness of some of certain forum members. Being relatively new to forums in general, please point out if I unintentionally breach any forum protocols (I am reading the rule books as we speak!).
