So I spent 2 days gleaning info from the forums and finally committed to ditchin the analogs. With the wealth of information this community has put out, I decided to go DIY from the start. Ordered some Nic juice syringes, pippettes, empty bottles and other supplies from different sites. For flavor tho my brother said that VaporBomb was Awesome, so I ordered 1/2 dozen flavors at 0mg nic.

Now for the question I should have asked but didn't cause IRNewb......

Are the VB flavors I received today good for "cutting" the 60mg Nic? and if so about how many drops per 5ml bottle? Or what % should I plug into the plethera of DIY calculators out there?

Thanx in advance for the advice

No, No, No, flavoring is not for cutting. Flavoring is used anywhere from 10-30% depending on personal taste (30% is quite high actually). First you need to get some VG or PG. The Humco VG at Walmart by the rubbing alcohol and bandages will do in a pinch if you haven't ordered any. Before using any flavoring you want to cut your nic juice. Be careful and wear protective clothing, because it is poisonous. I don't know what strength nic juice you want to end up with but to make it simple you can make 30mg by adding an equal amount of VG or PG to what you have now. After you have that mixed, if you want to decrease the nicotine to 15mg add the same amount of VG/PG to the total mix. Ex. 50ml of 60mg nic + 50ml of VG/PG=100ml at 30mg nic...Then 100ml of 30mg nic + 100ml of VG/PG =200ml at 15mg nic.

After cutting your nic juice, add the flavorings to your taste.

I don't know how many drops it would be for flavoring but a good amount of flavoring to start in a 5ml would be about 1 ml. It should not take very much flavoring for that much.
