Well, I have an order in at Smoking Everywhere, then I read the reviews here.

Now I bought Joy510's from cignot (not sure if they are a sponsor, hope so!).

Got them for my brother and I.

2 no box kits for $35 each (amazing deal from what I've seen)
20 Joye 510 Prefilled Cartridges Marlb High (18mg Nicotine)
2 Joye 510 Spare Battery and Atomizer
10 Empty cartridges

He has some juice from his last ecig that he never really used, a variety pack of flavors.

Question is, do you need to have empty cartriges to fill them or can we refill the prefilled ones? If you can refill them, why do they sell empty ones?

Thanks ECF :D, you put two brothers on a mission from god and caused a nice hefty order for cignot (hope you get a commission!)

Also, for those that have them, how long should 10 prefilled cartriges last a typical smoker?

Thanks again ECF Members, mods and Admin!

cignot good vendor in good standing around here.

You can refill your prefilled carts once the juice is gone. If needed take the filler out and wash it. I use 151 vodka because it cleans and dries well. If you use water, make sure to dry completly - water/electronics, etc.

If you use menthol it's a good idea to mark that cartridge - menthol the hardest flavor to remove (except for roast beef... ;-)

They sell empty cartridges for replacements and if someone has their own juice already and don't want to use prefilleds. Empties are usually cheaper as well.

There are threads on 'how long does a cart last'... don't waste your time with that. The opinions vary so much it isn't worth it and it's a 'ymmv' thing so you'll have to find out for yourself. What the manufacturer says is sometimes overstated.

"Different strokes for different folks". Some prefer not to have to deal with refilling. To make it easier in the beginning, I went stricktly with pre-filled, then as I gained knowledge/experience, started toying with refilling.

10 prefilled cartridges would have lasted me (I smoked from 2 to 3 packs aday) anywhere from two days to five days.

Can you refill prefilled cartridges? Yes, but a lot of times the two different juices taste awful when you do that. I found Johnson Creek juices were like that. I thought it tasted awful until I tried a freshly stuffed cartridge--from then on they tasted great.

How long will these used cartridges last if you refill and restuff them. Probably a long time. I've got about 75 over here because I just had my 5 kits of 510s come in from Cignot today and that gave me 25 more cartridges. I say use them and use them until they crack, or break or something like that. Only two of my whistle tip cartridges have been thrown away in the last six weeks.

I've found that the fiber stuff they use in the pre-fills gives me a much smoother draw than the teabag fillers. I've used the ready made pyramid tea bag cartridges and ones I've made myself and about half of them draw really smoothly and the other half are like trying to suck a thick milkshake through a straw. The polyfil or whatever it is in the pre-fills holds a nice amount of liquid and gives a smooth, steady, consistent pull each time.

I've got a bunch of the cartridges and I only re-fill them maybe 2 or 3 times before taking them and rinsing them in water and setting them aside to dry. They'll probably each last for months. Why would they wear out? There's virtually nothing solid to clog them, and almost everything you vape is water soluble, so they should rinse out easily and be like new.

That's my experience with them, but then, I'm not one of the mod lovers. I vape my cignot.com Joye 510 and love it with the re-filled pre-fills.
