Hi,

I've been reading up on these forums and elsewhere. I've decided I should start with an eGo. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't forgetting to order anything, and was hoping if I was, someone could let me know. Also, I have one question.

question: If I order the eGo, can I refill the cartriges, or do I have to buy new ones one they are empty?

I plan to purchase a kit that comes with:

2 Joye eGos
2 650mah batteries
2 atomizers
2 atomizer covers
5 prefilled carts
1 eGo fast USB charger
1 AC to USB adapeter
1 pouch

Like is says, it has prefilled carts. Does that mean I can't refill them with whatever juice I want to buy?

First off, congrats on deciding to vape.

Don't worry about the pre-filled carts, you can refill them.

You need some blank carts most likely if you can't clean out the prefilled taste, and DEFINITELY juice. I would get a 30ml bottle to give you time to reorder, something basic.

I would recommend buying some juice on the same day if not from the supplier of your kit. I made the fatal error of ordering juice a day after my kit and here I sit.. juice-less with 5 empty carts.. -sigh- analogs suck.

Order some juice to refill the carts with! Don't give up if you don't like the first (or 5th!) juice you try. Different companies suit different tastes. I just got some from strictlyejuice and I love the lung hit. To me, it is the closest I've found to inhaling analog smoke. Also, I never thought I'd like flavors other than tobacco. To my surprise, I enjoy the coffee and the berry/cherry flavors.

Order several small sample bottles of juice so you can see what you like.

You can indeed refill the cartridges once they are empty. If you want to change flavors, just rinse them in warm water, the filler too, and dry them. After that, you can refill them, many times in fact.

You might want to add a few small bottles of eliquid in different flavors and different strengths. I suggest small bottles, since you wouldn't want to be stuck with a lot of anything that you did not like. And different strengths till you find out what is satisfying to you. I would suggest to start out with 24mg, 18mg, and maybe even 12mg, but certainly the first two. You might even want to try some vg. Some people do have mild allergic reactions to pg. And do allow yourself some time to adjust to vaping. Even if pg works well for you, it is drying, especially at first, so drink lots of fluids while vaping.

A few extra blank cartridges wouldn't hurt. They are cheap. Say another 10 or so, that would only cost you $6.00 or there about. Atomizers are a disposable item. They last anywhere from two weeks to six months depending on usage and care. But a couple of extra atomizers, either now or in the very near future, would save you from suddenly finding yourself without one.

You can order eliquid from the same seller as the hardware. But there are a lot of other vendors who specialize in eliquids. Tasty Vapor is very good, but they do not sell samplers at all. VaporBomb, Ms.T's Bakery, Freedomsmokeusa, DIYflavorshack, all those are reliable vendors too. And you can get pg, vg, or a mix of the two.
