They have Fireworks on the Pier later... but it gets too crazy down there... I might just stay home!!

I will be leaving my apt in a little bit to head to Epcot, as I do every year. It does get a little crowded, but the vibe is always a good one. Dinner this year will be at Teppan Edo, the wonderful Teppanyaki style restaurant in the Japan Pavilion of the park. Meeting up with some friends/coworkers. After dinner we will wander around the park for a bit to find a good spot for the fireworks which start at 10pm. It's an amazing fireworks show every year. The first part is regular Illuminations: Reflections of Earth that Epcot puts on *every* night. After that it goes nuts for about 5 minutes. When Disney adds something to an existing fireworks show without changing the core show, it's called a "Tag." This tag's name is "The Heartbeat of Freedom."

I will of course have my PV with me. I don't really do much out and out vaping in the parks, but once I find a good spot to watch the fireworks, I won't move ... so I am sure some vapes will happen. Might get a coffee cup and exhale into that. That was a theme park suggestion I read somewhere. (Disney still doesn't have an official policy regarding vaping, and I don't want to push the issue, since I do enjoy my job.

Sitting here smelling the BBQ smoke coming from down in the courtyard... and I'll be here making curried chicken and potato stew... LOL!!
Will be watching the Boston fireworks on TV. It's quite the zoo taking the trip out there! Beautiful show though, but when you go in person, early enough to get a good seat for the show, your view of the fireworks stinks!
I mowed this morning and it was nasty windy icky dry and I had itchy dirt all over me.
They shoot the fireworks off of a barge out in the Harbor here, and you can even see it form one of the stairwells in my building!!
A house full of family and friends, enough food to feed a football team and margaritas. Spent most of the morning playing with my new pup down at the river....
Last year we fired off 120 mortars, this year we have about 160. It should be pretty crazy once the sun goes down.

Even the 'Safe and Sane' fireworks are illegal in this town... but they sell them a few miles away... Ha!!
Fireworks are banned all around here this year - will have to find something on TV tonight to watch
And now I am going to attempt to move everything off of my Dad's BAD hard drive onto my portable hard drive, but only what we need to keep - wish me luck
