You all have truly inspired me and got my creative juices flowing with the endless possibilities. I started out just wanting to protect my VAMO's chrome finish. I just used some clear contact paper and some 3mm self adhesive gems. I went with the simple elegance approach...now I want more View attachment 212998

Nice work! And yes, you've caught the bug too. Welcome!!

If you're talking to me  if I'm wrong. The blue is Filigree from The Victorian Gypsy Lady on Esty, the bronze butterfly was from Hobby Lobby (make your own jewelery section).

Is the material bendable so you can just form it to fit? Does it go all the way around? I need EASY..... I'm not a crafty person and went against my better judgement recently. Bought a bunch of stuff from Michael's. Long story short; couldn't get anything to work, bought wrong sizes, after about five hours of frustration and practically in tears I packaged everything up and donated it all to the VOA.

Tee heee I've ordered some stamped beauties to play with from a shop on Etsy. Thanks again for the inspiration. Yours are just lovely.

Link please????

Yes you have to email for prices. Not sure if she is wholesale only... I'm ordering a bunch for our store that we are opening soon. I will let you know when I get them in. :)

Store? What store???? I've been away from ECF far too long I'm out of the loop!

OK, this thread is either going to make me a millionaire, or stark-raving-crazy, and right now, crazy is winning. Back story: I'm pretty handy. For Christmas & b-days, I ask for power tools. I've installed carpet, laminate, ceramic tile, wired & plumbed, designed & made clothes, drapery, upholstery. I'm fearless and have come up with many "unconventional" solutions to decorating dilemmas. I'm one of those people who goes to thrift stores & makes a $5 find look like a million dollars. So, WHY am I having such difficulties designing a larger mod holder for us ladies? I'm not happy with it yet, but here is the first attempt that I feel is on the right track:

It's got the pretty factor, but the functionality still isn't where I want it to be. Argh......

That is one of the first pv holders I've seen that I like - great job! It's also nice that it holds it in an upright position. Using mainly RBA's that is a very important feature. If/when you perfect these I would be interested in seeing what you come up with and possibly buy one if you want to sell.

Dang this thread got my juices flowing so bad I was drooling! I went on a craft shopping spree on a mission to make my own self adhesive vinyl. Turning fabric into vinyl with thermo bond iron on vinyl. I created a prototype to expand from. I didn't want to break the bank just in case it didn't work so I hit the bargain bins. My vinyl covered fabric opens a window of possibilities...so many choices. I used light weight cotton fabric and vinyl coated both sides and applied double sided sticky tape to one side cut out the pattern with exacto. All went well but the tape wasn't strong enough I had to use scotch tape to hold the back side down...errrgh! I need to find some wide double sided tape tacky enough to hold it down? Any suggestions. Don't judge the pick once I get all the bugs worked out I'm gonna use some fabu' pink cheetah fabric!

could you maybe get some blank vinyl cling and double-stick THAT to the back of your vinyled fabric?
Jo-Ann's has it for less than $10 Cling Vinyl 9"X12" Sheets & paper at Joann.com

Or you could print your own...
from ehow:
Static cling vinyl is available as a specialty inkjet paper for personalized projects and designs. Typically, clear film is mounted on a paper backing for use on an inkjet printer. Static cling vinyl is delicate, yet durable for use on smooth, external surfaces, such as car windows.

Cool idea, and your pic is beautiful. Maybe double sided carpet tape?

Your Vamo looks fabulous!

These high tack adhesive sheets stick to darned near anything except silicone. Google for the best prices.
Kool Tak > Ultra Clear Sheets
Terrifically Tacky Tape Sheet

The same stuff also comes in rolls. The 3" is wide enough to go around PVs.

A few DT's I bought last September or so. They've been in a ziplock baggie for at least 6 months with a few others. My wife was shocked I like fancy drip tips but if its pyrex and unique? its mine: (OLD PIC)

Love your tips. You should at least have them on display instead of hiding them in a baggie!

There's a new ECF pyrex glass drip tip kid on the block, Envision. Some of their tips are currently for sale in a couple of California brick and mortars.
I'll run along new before people start hollering at me for credit card assault.

I just became aware of Cirrus tanks. Anyone try them? https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cirrus-Vapes/502901073071890
They are wholesale only so finding one might be challenging.

I haven't done much cruising around on sites for decorative stuff, but I'd love to find a pink piggy mouthpiece!

Teena made some adorable cow drip tips here and here. She could probably tweak that design for a cute custom pig tip. PM her to see if she can do one for you.

I haven't bought one yet, but I've been eyeing them too. Check their website for anyone who may be local to you. This online place says they carry them too:http://www.vaporshot.com/ego-series-e-cigarettes.html

You should also check out Vape Revolution if you like colored tanks: Tanks - Accessories This type allows you to use your own drip tips. Not so sure about the Cirrus....

Sorry, Ghelli, but this may ever be shrouded in mystery unless you can find someone who knows him personally. His head exploded in another thread, and he got "moved on".
