Hey Cranky --

This thread is loaded with all types of tips and methods to "girly" up our devices.

If you flip through some of the pages I'm sure you'll find even more info that you could possible use and some valuable links.

Some of our ECF gals are very creative and many love to share the info. You could start with nail polish and nail stickers.

Thank you! I will have to look for the ones that don't require artistic skill. I didn't realize these were user made, I thought I was just missing all the pretty things for sale!

I understand that! There are vendors that sell great charms, skins for any e-cig or APV and even a couple vendors that seem to carry more girl friendly decorated batteries in addition to the creative gals. I'm just not current on all the vendor names.

I like Bedazzled for some accessories and Molehill Mountain or Etsy for some unique drip tip/mouthpieces. I'm sure someone will show up with a link or two for you before too long for some of the decorated (even some crystal studded) batteries.

Unfortunately they all seem to be eGo style batteries. The only APV I have seen that is even slightly feminine is the pink Provari.

I bought the the brushed steel Provari because I couldn't find a setup that matched that exact pink. I'm kind of wishing I had just went with my first instinct now. Oh we'll, there is always room for another one :)

Thank you all for your help. I've been lost in etsy for awhile!

You don't have to she'll out a paycheck for pink Provari. Get a pink or purple SID.

My bud has one. Had it for a few months and only problem he had with it is when he screwed down the center pin of his RSST down too hard and pushed the center pin on the 510 connector down. But paid 10 bucks to send it to Smoktech and they're fixing it for him. Lots of good mods come in different colors.

Can someone tell me where to start to make beautiful things like this? I would like to make one (ok some) for myself and also for a birthday gift for a fellow vape girl who got me started. Thank you!

This, to me, is all another excuse to go to the craft store (now that Christmas craft season is over)!! My poor hubby!! Keepin it simple mostly with nail polish, stickers, and decorative tapes (they have a nice selection of tapes now at Staples btw) and I can change the decorations every few weeks. Jusy did this this morning....

You may be right. I'm not a moderator, so I think it best for Caridwen or classie to weigh in on this one. :)
I’ve done a fair amount of research on this issue. My understanding is that a post cannot in any way, shape or form be construed as advertising for personal/business gain. We are free to mention, link, and even recommend our sources for anything, as long as we’re not doing it for personal or business profit.
I’ve noticed our moderators actually cut us a tiny bit of slack in this thread. I’ve seen posts allowed that technically break the rules, but they understand we have a hard time finding “girly” stuff, so give us a little extra latitude. (Thanx mods!!!)

...........but if someone else posted it, that would not be in violation of ECF rules.

I thought so too - but I tried and my post was removed ( see "3903.5 ) so, lesson learned ;)

On another note, I'm working on adding some crystals to a ProVari wrap. Will post a pic if it turns out.

I didn't catch it before it got removed. Was it a link to something you've actually purchased/used/asking for opinions/etc, or just to help Coelli? That could be viewed as trying to bypass the rules to generate income for her. If you manage to get one of her products, you could post a pic when you get it. Then, if you are asked "where?", you're not breaking any rules by posting a link.

Splitting hairs, maybe, but our mods do this all day, every day & quite well, I might add......wouldn't want to be them for the world.

Oh, and you BETTER post a pic with the crystals!!

I appreciate your take on this. I just posted that I'd actually seen her Etsy shop and added a link. I don't know her personally (though I'm sure she's very nice) and have no vested interest in her business but maybe because I posted directly after she removed her link the moderator saw fit to deem it "not allowed". I admit it made me pretty uncomfortable because I've always tried hard - and up to yesterday succeeded at abiding by ECF rules. I'll continue to post of course, hopefully appropriately, but it's still a little hurtful none the less.

No big deal - moving on. :) And Coelli, you should make your pretty wraps in lots of colours and sell zillions! ;)

And about these crystals - they really are like potato chips. I feel compelled to finish the whole bag! :)

I am SO SORRY that things got so weird! I know we already talked in PM. I appreciated you linking to the shop. :) FWIW, I still have not sold one, lol.

I'm not a vendor at all - I'm actually a semi-unemployed semi-starving artist. I have always wanted a vinyl cutter and my boyfriend got me one for Christmas (he's pretty much the best). So of course the first thing I did when I got my ego was decorate it.

Our closest vaping store is semi-high-end; the owner is a woman and she's very interested in carrying the decals because she also sees how limited the options are for female vapers. I have no idea how to handle a larger production and will have to figure that out! I wish there were more girly options and like so many of us I'm glad I'm crafty enough to DIY it up.

Note to mods: I am not trying to sell anything here, I swear!
