I posted about a week ago that as a fan of the little black dress, my PV's are mostly black with black drip tips except for a couple of pink Twists. Inspired by all of your pretty PV pictures, I stepped out of my comfort zone a little today. I not only ordered a pretty copper Reo Grande VV, but I also ordered a bunch of fancy drip tips including a beautiful brass one carved like a lotus blossom, a marbleized black and white one, and some multi-colored ones. You guys are an inspiration, but a serious drain on my credit card. :p

I'll be sure to post some pics once I have all my new goodies.

I think we can use our "little black dress" personal style and create our own unique versions of girly and glam PV's. I've personally been going for a "Chanel inspired" look with most of my PV's. And, of course, a girl can never go wrong with clear Swarovski crystals. ;)

Hi - I'm just sneaking in to show you my toy. It's not pink or particularly girly (well, I guess the second version is), but I wanted to share it while it still exists. I was just experimenting and used a scrap of fabric that was lying around, which started fraying in all directions once I cut it. Oh, right that's why it was in the scrap bag...

And for the well-dressed mod out on the town (the Protank doesn't like being cold);

What did you use to attach the material?

Double-sided carpet tape.

ETA: I cut a rough pattern out of the material, attached it to one side of the tape; trimmed off most of the frays and glued down what I couldn't; sprayed it with Scotch Guard and sealer; peeled off the backing; put it on the mod and used strips of tape electrical tape to cover the edges.

The mink isn't attached to anything, it's just a ring.

Your new vape treasure is absolutely gorgeous and I love the mink stole touch although I think it looks plenty girly without it!

Putting fabric on a lightweight piece of iron-on interfacing usually stops most fraying. Also, Fray Check will for sure stop fraying but can darken some fabrics and cause rippling with really light weight ones like sheer silk.

My kicked K100 (ECF coop purchase) decked out with a Teena drip tip and charms is one of my favorite new vape playthings. The hex drip shield is from Empire Mods. I did the stainless chain with some necklace chain I found on eBay. The ugly knurling is covered with some rhinestones but I'm not sure I like them that much. I think something less dimensional would probably look better.

I have to laugh here - I have a least 2 bottles of that (or the equivalent) somewhere in my studio  I tore the place apart! It was already in disarray from the last time I was looking for something - and will now be worse when I look for something else; likely this evening. The upside is I found something I was looking for a couple of weeks ago, although that's honestly not an upside, since it always happens that way. Sigh.

But I've gotten better over the years. I've grown as a person. In the past, when I couldn't find something I wanted, I used to go buy it. Then, of course, a few days later I'd find other bottles I had purchased when I couldn't find any on other occasions. That's how I've ended up with 9 bottles of spray adhesive I only use once or twice a year.

That's beautiful! I have one of Teena's drip tips, it's one of the few vase-shaped tips she's made. I asked her about making more, but she said it was a real pain to get the lip even all the way around. I love the drip tips from Molehill Mountain, but I so rarely use acrylic, I can't justify the price. I also like the looks of the ones from Sagewood Glass.

You have my complete sympathy. I'm so absent-minded that I once managed to misplace my shoes in the freezer. I'm currently trying to find some beading crimp ends that I was sure I put in the jewelry findings drawer but, so far, that hasn't made any other misplaced items come out of hiding.

You might want to try a different tactic by ordering something new to try to see if that will make lost items magically appear. Plaid Stiffy Fabric Stiffener will stop the fraying. It has the added advantage of making the cloth cleanable by wiping it off with a damp cloth.

I absolutely adore the looks of the Molehill Mountain tips but, unfortunately, my strong preference for using only glass or china for beverages has carried over to vaping. I've also noticed that I will unconsciously reach for PVs that I consider attractive even when they are loaded with juice that I like a lot less than juice loaded on a PV that I don't think is very pretty. That has convinced me that money spent on "girly and pretty" is more than worth the investment as a strategy to keep vaping more psychological appealing than smoking. I'm now in the process of replacing all my metal and plastic tips with glass ones.

Oh God! Don't get me started on crimp beads and jump rings. The next time I find some (like in the 20 or some little bags hiding and laughing me) I'm going to scotch tape them to the inside of a trim drawer.

I've actually found St. Anthony to be very helpful, but I feel guilty asking him about something as trivial as jumps rings.

I'll check out the Stiffy stuff, but i'm also going to look at clear shelf liner. I used some years ago to cover part of a wall and it worked pretty well.

And my ADV is also the reason I can't use acrylic or Delrin tips. Between drip tips and clearos (before I figured out what the problem was) my juice had racked up more victims than the Zodiac Killer.

Anyone have success trying to paint metal?

Glass paints have worked for me. If you can bake them on per the directions they will hold up much better.

A hugely messy option is to put a small jar in a big cardboard box. Put on some disposable gloves and spray some spray paint in the jar to use for brushing. A fiddly alternative is spray paint and masks. Make sure the paint is cured before applying a mask to a previously painted area.
