There are some techniques when it comes to painting metal. Google will help you. Some work better than others. Trial and error
My kicked K100 (ECF coop purchase) decked out with a Teena drip tip and charms is one of my favorite new vape playthings. The hex drip shield is from Empire mods. I did the stainless chain with some necklace chain I found on eBay. The ugly knurling is covered with some rhinestones but I'm not sure I like them that much. I think something less dimensional would probably look better.

Raspberry creme alabaster stone with rose black stem...I will vape it as manly as possible...

Hi - I'm just sneaking in to show you my toy. It's not pink or particularly girly (well, I guess the second version is), but I wanted to share it while it still exists. I was just experimenting and used a scrap of fabric that was lying around, which started fraying in all directions once I cut it. Oh, right that's why it was in the scrap bag...

And for the well-dressed mod out on the town (the Protank doesn't like being cold);

You have my complete sympathy. I'm so absent-minded that I once managed to misplace my shoes in the freezer.I'm currently trying to find some beading crimp ends that I was sure I put in the jewelry findings drawer but, so far, that hasn't made any other misplaced items come out of hiding.

So I gave into my impulses and bought myself an iTaste MVP. Does anyone know who sells wraps for them, besides J-Wraps?

You might want to try a different tactic by ordering something new to try to see if that will make lost items magically appear. Plaid Stiffy Fabric Stiffener will stop the fraying. It has the added advantage of making the cloth cleanable by wiping it off with a damp cloth.
I absolutely adore the looks of the Molehill Mountain tips but, unfortunately, my strong preference for using only glass or china for beverages has carried over to vaping. I've also noticed that I will unconsciously reach for PVs that I consider attractive even when they are loaded with juice that I like a lot less than juice loaded on a PV that I don't think is very pretty. That has convinced me that money spent on "girly and pretty" is more than worth the investment as a strategy to keep vaping more psychological appealing than smoking. I'm now in the process of replacing all my metal and plastic tips with glass ones.
I am having such a hard time trying to decide how I want my ProVari to look. The lovelies at JWraps and Vapor Skinz have opened up a huge door of possibilities! It's awesome that they can do custom printed wraps.
My biggest qualm is with color. I don't have a lot of tanks yet, but the colors I've seen in the tanks I like are a darker purple, hot pink, silver, and white. Right now my ProVari is silver, but I feel almost positive I want it wrapped. Do I pick another neutral color? Or do I go with a color I just like? Does the body need to match the tanks? ... D:
Originally, my plan was to get a white carbon fiber wrap, and paint the top outer ring and outside battery cap a deep purple. But I couldn't find any tanks I liked to go with it. Well, tanks I liked anyways. I'm not big on cartos or carto tanks. The other idea I had was a grunge textured pink print, with a hot pink star pattern. But again, nothing matched well.
What would you lovelies do?

I just had to wonder why your shoes would be in the freezer. By any chance had you stepped in gum? Were you trying to freeze it to make it easier to get off?
I agree totally that things need to be sensually appealing in order to be useful. As much as we try to be "practical", practical isn't necessarily what logic seems to say is practical. Practical turns out to be about observing our feelings about things!
We need just a bit more info, my dear. If you're not a fan of cartos/tanks, what do you prefer for juice delivery, and is your preference based more on the look or performance? And what about drip tips - does your preference allow or preclude their use? You don't have to get all matchy-matchy, but coordination is important, and knowing what you want on top will help us guide you.

Luckily I have not bought a ton of equipment yet. I suppose my preference would be an RBA, or a clearo tank such as the Vivis or V-Core. I have one of each, plus a carto tank I don't get along with. That's more to do with the carto than the tank.
The preference comes from performance. Oddly enough I can coil a wick easier than I ever did filling, priming, or installing a carto in a tank. The clearos are alright, lazy backups that I love.
So far all equipment I own allows for standard 510 drip tips. I love drip tips![]()
Here, I took pictures. Why not!

Fourth is a pattern I was considering
Try painting stripes in complementary colors over the o-rings. That way they become part of the art.I'm not overly thrilled with the o-rings showing through the paint but all the Vitrea 160 paints are translucent.
Your new vape treasure is absolutely gorgeous and I love the mink stole touch although I think it looks plenty girly without it!
Putting fabric on a lightweight piece of iron-on interfacing usually stops most fraying. Also, Fray Check will for sure stop fraying but can darken some fabrics and cause rippling with really light weight ones like sheer silk.

Glass paints have worked for me. If you can bake them on per the directions they will hold up much better.
A hugely messy option is to put a small jar in a big cardboard box. Put on some disposable gloves and spray some spray paint in the jar to use for brushing. A fiddly alternative is spray paint and masks. Make sure the paint is cured before applying a mask to a previously painted area.
