I like the cha cha expansion rings.. but at $6.99 each can get expensive if your making alot.. I think I'll get one just to try it.
Since they fit 6.5-7 ring size maybe they won't look good on a larger PV. would have to stretch it to much. But would look nice on a EGO.
I found these cha cha expansion rings on eBay but haven't gotten around to ordering any yet so I don't know how well they might work. You would probably need jump rings to attach your pieces of jewelry to the ring.

Teena, I found these stretch cha cha rings that are a bit cheaper in small quantities. You have to use the search feature for the second offering to see a thumbnail as the listing itself doesn't seem to have pictures.
4 stainless steel cha cha ring blank base 3 loops stretch 7mm
10 Silver Color 8mm Thick Cha Cha Ring Findings 3 Loops

Oddly, I don't find anything similar listed on eBay from Chinese sellers nor anything on alibaba, both of which are usually extremely cheap options. :(

I've got a similar stretch ring here at home that looks fine stretched a bit on my VAMO but you should try one yourself to see if it's acceptable for your purposes.

Thanks for the links Peraspera, good to know they will look ok on larger PV's.

Nice epage! I've been thinking of going to Michael's to look for ideas. I cleaned out my jewelry the other day and was going to throw out some old costume jewelry then thought maybe I could make some charms out of some of it.

Does anyone have ideas of something prettier to use besides o-rings? I've heard of stretchy string but wouldn't you then have extra thread pieces hanging off from where you tie it?

How about a stretchy bead necklace with teeny tiny beads? You could use PowerCord (stretchy bead cord) to thread them, and hide the knot inside one of the beads, and maybe a dab of Krazy Glue in there somewhere, on the knot or at the bead hole...

EDIT: yeah, like QRST said...

Kinda like that heel bling that I saw on here earlier (Stormy's?). Same idea.

Nice find - yeah, my ring finger's size 6.5, and it's about the same diameter as my batt!

Whenever I find metal in about the size of my tanks, which are 19mm, I bend it to shape (and that don't ring my fun bell!) then sauder (not sure I spelled that right..lol) it tight around tank

Stormy, I'm so obsessed with this one. What was the metal piece before you wrapped it around and soldered it?

This is it off the tank....it was one of those things that just turned out right. Mosts things I try to bend to fit looked warped. The thinner the better as its easier to work with(but breaks easy). I tried rings, but just looks like a ring on a tank and not like they were made for it. I have several that just slide on the tank and so I can change the look of whatever tank I put it on. I have seen something similar to the filigree at Michaels..I would think you could bend it and attach with a couple of glue dots (from hobby lobby in the glue section) ( I use them for everything, they hold great then just peel off when I want to move it to something else).
