These are the mods that I'm thinking of covering in Duck Tape or maybe spray painting. My Indulgence, Indulgence-style 18350 tube mod, RoughStack, and Maxi RoughStack. And, these are all the patterns of tape that I have so far.

My poor red Bolt has masking tape on it so that I can experiment with getting the paint off the threads without destroying the rest of the paint job. I've tried acetone (fingernail polish remover) already. I haven't decided what to try next. Probably oven cleaner, I guess. Any suggestions?

I know the picture is a little blurry. But, you should have seen my first try! It made me dizzy just to look at it.

Very classy, what is that fabulous drip tip?

That's an Elegance Tank. It's like the Lava Tank, where the top cap and drip tip are one solid unit. It makes refilling very easy, since you just pop the drip tip top off and pop it back on when you're done.

8 months and this topic is still going strong! One of the most well-known and popular topics on ECF---- thanks for starting this Dragonbone! Indeed, keep it on track and keep the beauties coming.......eveyrone comes here to LOOK and SEE and then G-A-S-P at the absolutely amazing stuff people create here. (Including the males on occassion :D).
Actually, Some of us men are regulars. We like to look at pretty things. As long as we don't have to walk around the mall, or hold a purse or or or
;)
You guys are very creative and I like to see what you do with your mods!

You can embed it for a larger picture. Take the "direct link" (if you click on it photobucket will copy it automatically), then paste it into the message box with "
" at the end (no spaces).
Thanks Ocelot!! For putting up my pic and for the advice! I will try it, however, I think I'm just gonna have to break down and get a laptop. I was participating in a contest where we were posting videos, and although I did it how it was explained to me, it didn't work. It put up links and not the video. One person told me my links didn't work for them. Grrrrr. I'm having a love/hate relationship with my iPad right now!

Donuts are my favorite. Does it work with vapor like it does glass pipes, watching the vapor spin through it?
obsidianchao, I like watching the vapor too. Unfortunately, it's not transparent enough to see it. One of these days soon, I'm gonna ask them if they will make me a clear corkscrew with a few turns in it. Like one of those crazy straws, but smaller. :D

Thanks everyone for the compliments!! :)

Hi All - Been away too long again! Life just keeps getting in the way of my fun free time! See I've missed a lot of great creativity and friends!

where did you get the little "do dad" hanging from there? I love it...I want some angel or wings or something on mine....just getting back into gaping, need to "girl" my Ego C up :)

Have you tried searching Etsy? Black Raven (Teena) and some times others have charms for pv's.

Ok. So I totally lack the creativity but I have good taste in drip tips??? :D
I told Miss Stormy I would post a pic of my drip tip collection as of today.

Incredible jaw dropping collection!! I have a "thing" for dt's also - I recognize several but many I don't know. Could you share the vendors names please?

I don't really decorate, but I know where to buy nice stuff. :)

I am so with you - hahha! I don't have an ounce of diy in me but boy do I love to shop! These pics have me stumped - what are they?

I tried the cha-cha ring I had on my VAMO for you to show you what it looks like stretched to fit a PV that is larger than a Ego battery. I decided I liked the way the ring hid the display. It's easy to just slide the ring out of the way on the rare occasions when I need to see the display.

The Swaroski beads hiding the gap between the tank and VAMO are strung on Beadalon Elasticity.

That looks great! Thanks for sharing your pics. Im going to grab a few of those cha-cha rings. What is Beadalon Elasticity and where do you get it? Suppose I could google it.

It's great you enjoy looking at nice things! My husband carries what he calls a "murse" - man purse. He has a cartoon of a guy carrying one and saying "Ya, its a purse but I carry a gun in it"

What is Beadalon Elasticity and where do you get it?

The Beadalon Elasticity is a stretchy bead string. It has the semi-opacity of fishing line but is softer in feel. I think it is made with some sort of silicone material. I didn't find that it would hold a knot with a darn so I used Beadalon's crimp ends and crimp tool to fasten the Elasticity ends together.

This was so weird feeling! I was doing a google search for pv's and came across a couple pics of mine that people had pinned on pinterest. It's flattering that people like your things but it just felt strange knowing people have your personal pics. I guess it just goes with the territory when you post things on the internet.

Anywho....I figured Id show them again if people enjoyed seeing them! These aren't girly but they are a couple of my favorites:

Mookie, I love the day of the dead tank!
Most of my acrylic tips are from Molehill Mountain, a few of them are from Lewis Gentry, and all the glass tips are from Sagewood Art Glass, except for the red rose tip. That one came from Phiniac. I was on Etsy and I came across a shop, she had the same roses and others. Search drip tips and the store will come up, I think it was something like BlackRavent. Also, Molehill Mountain and Sagewood will do custom orders! :)

I sometimes I read too fast and miss things! Lol. So you know about her store on Etsy.

Thanks for the info. I have some Bullies, Sagewoods, Trippys and BlackRavents. I'll have to check out Molehill and Gentry. I've heard of them but don't have any. In case you don't know, Teena (BlackRavent) has a thread and sells them here also:

Here are some older pics of some of them but I only have single pics of lots of them and of my newer ones. I'll have to take an updated group shot of them all together. Sorry for the duplicates I don't have many group shots. I wish I had taken more because it's sad to look back and see how many I've lost, sold, or broken -

Wow Mookie!! Gorgeous!!
I hope I'm not jinxing myself by saying this.... I haven't broken any yet. :knocking on wood: I'd be devastated!! I'm a freak about breaking and losing things!
How do you like the bully tips? I got a couple that should be getting here soon, I hope.
You definately need some Molehill tips to add to your collection! :D
Your tanks and PV's are nice too! Can't wait to get my ProVari, soon!!

Nice work, Thursday lurking crew!! I've been lurking here a lot, playing, pondering, and I'd like to ask for opinions ONLY. I want to be very clear, I AM NOT SELLING ANYTHING. I do have an idea, but I'm just looking for opinions right now. I know a lot of us are just full of creative ideas & have the skills (or fearlessness) to make our own bling. But I also see a lot of posts by ladies who wouldn't even know where to start. What if those ladies could buy a set of these parts (lanyard, charm & stickers):
before.jpg

That would allow you to make your plain eGo style battery to look like this with nothing more than applying the stickers & then covering the battery with a coat of clear nail polish:

after.jpg

Think it would be intimidating? Would there be a market? What kind of price point?

And oh yeah, what area of the forum should I repost this? I don't want the discussion to stay in this thread.

Thursday lurking crew!!

???? What is that ???? Thursday lurking crew....

I think you have an interesting idea. Especially for us artistically impaired. There are some people who sell lanyards and/or charms but I've never seen it sold as a set with of stickers. I would probably buy some as it would save a lot of time from having to shop around trying to find matching items. It wouldn't be intimidating - it would simplify things IMO.

I'd like some lanyards but most that I've seen though are either too plain or too tacky. It would be nice to see some more elegant or simple designs. It would also be nice if they could somehow be adjustable to also fit pv's larger than Ego size. Charms are fun and I have several beautiful ones from one of my favorite vendors. I'd like to see something other than a black o-ring used for them. I keep thinking of going to Michael's to see what I can find but I get the willies whenever I step into the place. Ya, I know you are thinking then why are you hanging in a "girly" thread! Because I love girly (and manly too) but doing crafts is just not my thing. I'm a buyer - the type of person who needs artistic people like you! Not to mention the people in this thread are so nice and inspiring!

Price point is too hard to figure because there are so many variable in the cost of supplies used. Maybe do a google, ebay, etsy, etc., searches and see what they are charging for items similar to yours.
