ORIGINALLY PURCHASED IN 2009
This uses stacked TR15270 batteries, which do not work anymore.
It also features a push to vape mouthpiece.
It is made of all brass fittings and was considered a dripper back in its day. 2-3 drops vape a couple times and drop again. Im sure this beast would still work assuming i had good batteris for it.

Sadly, my uglies are not as ugly as everyone else's uglies... but I thought I'd share the vintage

Long story short, I first vaped in 2009, but ended up going back to stinkies in mid-2010 and left the forum for 4 years... finally went back to vaping in 2013 and haven't looked back

A couple months ago I was cleaning my closet and discovered some super old vape gear that managed not to get lost in the move like my other old stuff... and so I present to you:

From vaping round 1, I still have a few old joye 510 manual batteries from 2009-10 I even have one fully assembled with the atomizer and cartridge sleeve:



And yes, that is a PCC! And three bottles from my freedom smokes with handwritten labels, still full!

Those batteries never lasted me more than an hour, but after sitting in a box for 4 years they still work tho I haven't tried to use them cuz the threads are rusty and they kind of scare me...

And to top it all off, that one that's fully assembled leaked on my desk while I was taking pictures of it... after all this time, I haven't dripped on that atty in years and the darn thing still leaks like a sieve!

Needless to say, I was impressed to even find that stuff after all the times I moved since then, let alone to see that they all still work... I now have plans to put the zombie e-cigs on display in my house somewhere

Ok, here's mine:

I keep this to remind of two very important things that I already knew, but temporarily lost sight of, when I saw the great price on this "eGo-C Twist": a) anything that seems too good to be true... almost always is, and b) you get what you pay for, and this is an excellent example of why NOT to buy dirt-cheap mods from China.

Haha true! I have 2 Joye 510 also bought around 2010 and the batteries still work. And the awful blue LED still lights up. I remember the weird stares people gave me in the street when I used these in 2010. The blue LED made it impossible to vape quietly in public.
Unfortunately they're black and not ugly enough for this thread

vape gear are like tools to me. That would be sort o the opposite of them being like jewelry.

There was a provari in the classifieds that would be perfect for this topic......it was beat up to the max, but still worked fine.

Well, I rid myself of a Vanilla Copper mod that I could not keep shiny for longer than an hour to save my life. It was beautiful when polished, but blackened easily and I absolutely could not stand to have it look like a relic from WWII so I sold it. Weird, I know. The rest of mine are in pretty good shape since I baby them because I can't afford to replace them like I used to. Nice worn in mod though...shows pure vape dedication and loyalty to a well-loved mod!

This looks like some of my Evod's that I literally tossed due to loose and nonexistent connections. One night at work, I pulled my Evod out of my pocket and the tank came off and shattered and the device separated, baring its inner workings. I was so frustrated I threw it across the stock room and destroyed it forever. Back then $50 to replace wasn't much but now it is so I am having all my Evod batts rewired by my genius local shop who charges me next to nothing.

Yeah that's pretty, um, ugly. I am a device SNOB and have to have shiny stuff so all my devices are in good condition. I'm sure now that my alimony has stopped (my vape income - doh!) I will eventually resort to piecing together once well-loved and envy provoking mods and batteries. Good for you - dedication at its finest!
