I don't know about you guys but when I'm down in the shop building and I think of some of the awesome creations I've seen here (way more awesomer than mine, "awesomer" is a word, google it)...I sometimes wonder, what kind of evil laboratory are these things coming out of?...

Sometimes you'll see a "first mod" from someone and you think, "I don't know "insert name here", you could have done this or that..."...then you find out that "insert name here" owns a hammer, a pair of pliers, a gluegun and a $10 soldering iron, suddenly it's wow! "insert name here", you're a god!

conversely,

Another "insert name here" owns a full blown machine shop that makes parts for the aerospace industry and "insert name here" posts his new mod of a carto duct-taped to a batt with a paper-clip switch after which we can truly say, dude, you really need to go back to macramé as a hobby...

So, what do you think?, wanna post pics of our secret labs???I know I'm curious...

LOL I've lived here for something like 25 years and I still haven't had a Georgia Peach, they're all exported and we get all the Florida Peaches... go figure!

Well it certainly wouldn't look good, that is for sure. To give an idea, my breadboard IS an old breadboard and I don't think I've cleaned it up for over a year, just some culling every once in a while. If there were a picture I could put the spring section in the foreground

I actually live in a suburb of Vancouver called Port Coquitlam (about 20 mins out), I just changed it to Vancouver...a little more recognizable to some folks...I just didn't want to be lumped in with those Toronto/Montreal people, we don't like them much and their hockey teams suck...

LOL, I had to check before as it wasn't easy to reference. I was listening to KUOW last weekend and they seemed to be doing a feed from Canadian radio for something like 4 hours. My, was I tired after, and too many hockey references.

You know, now that I'm looking at my work bench as a "3rd" party observer I'm seeing my dismantled Ody next to parts to my next busbar box, next to a meter, next to... apparently I have focus issues...who knew?
