Anyway a week ago bought a istick 30w and aspire atlantis triied it thought I screwed up it was over kill I like it now but 2 days after I bought it I got sick sick like cold sores thing on back of throt head ache just very sick I also forgot to smoke so I kinda accidently quit which is awesome but I am now concerned with vapeing should I be? Any one else have experiance like this? By the way the west side vapor cartrages where 18mg and the juice for the atlantis 6mg yes I went to doc he dident really give me an idea but put me on antibiotics and cough medicine sent out throt swabs also tried to tone it down 2 days ago with a kanger evod2 set I dident really like it any ideas or experiences with this msituationmabe got sick sime time as withdrows coused amplifid situation?

Not sure why. Wait until you hear from your doctor regarding swabs. I hate that they put you antibiotics without knowing what it is. This is how we become antibiotic resistant. Also, could be too much for you jumping from a disposable. Keep us posted.

Thanks i was wondering. The same thing but im also wondering if i could have got it from taste testing juices at the shop even though i had on of the little covers. Also read about ejuice making ur immune system week and prone to things like bronchitis. And such i just figured id be able to hear if others ran in to this
In the almost three years I've been vaping, I've not been sick a single day. No colds, no flu (I don't get flu shots), nada. Pretty good for a 53yr old, considering I work around many co-workers and my wife and daughter both just recently recovered from head colds.
I don't claim vaping keeps me healthier but common sense tells me it doesn't bother my immune system.
As for cold sores/ mouth sores... I think I had one or two of those after I quit smoking. Perhaps a withdrawal thing?

Not sure where you read that, but be careful what you read. Sounds like more junk science to me.
I agree that ir could be junk science I think is just a odd coincidence couse I almost never get sick so I guess it made me question it I aint givin up yet though. By the way doc cald said is uper respatory infection cultures came back clean. As far as where I read that ill see if I can find it aigain and link it up I found it while looking for simler probloms in others I just dident find an exact fit just hints so i made a thread so hopfully to find somone simler o well vape on and ill update if anything changes

That is a good advice.High powered devices like istick enhance the effects of Eliquid.Inhaling hot vapors of pg and/or Vg is going to have effects.
Well Blu cartridges are high VG and you weren't having any problem with those. Then we have "mystery liquid" with unknown VG/PG ratio. If it is a high PG liquid - and PG is an irritant for some people - it could be that liquid. You need to find out more about it and what VG/PG ratio is in there.
I figured out that thw juice was around 60% pg im not totally shur it the only problem I also was using a atlantis tank at 22 watts wide open air flow also the is a bug going aroud I just happened to catch it before other people I know but it was all so close to gether It kinda had me concerned but I think it was just an odd occurrence still kicking the upper respatory infection though thanks to all im just glade it wasent vapeing
I caught a pretty wide spread bug that I ended up giving me mouth sores as well or at least the mouth sores were present during the time I was sick. Cheese grater throat with a little glass tossed in for effect?

As an association I'm somewhat PG sensitive, I can vape 50/50 at the rate of 10 ml a day on average but I try this with 80PG/20VG and life gets ugly to the point of aching joints, coughing like I never quit smoking and all around discomfort.

Good to know im not the only one bad for us that it effects im playing with ratios now to find my happy medium
