So I am sick of popping atomizers... Where does everyone get there 510 LR attys. I am using a 3.7V-1600 mAh. Perhaps I am also using to low of a resistance. Ideas please? And yes I am going to pick some up from Ikenvape as soon as they get their act together.

Thanks for the help,
Jason

Hi Jason
Try 1 of these out.. They will do well at 3.7 and be sure if you're using any kind of adapter to check that out to see it isn't shorting out and killing your attys.. These are some of the best 510s I have ever used and they are cheap but last and last with good vapor and flavor

Thanks for the advice... Yes I know I am newer but I think I am doing it correctly I am just getting lower quality atties

I get my joye 510s from Vapor Kings. Bulk prices can't be beat in USA. I have bought the Cisco's and for the money had trouble with them in the long run. 10 510LR from VK at $4.65 each and great service. My advice.

Jason,
How long does a typical atty last you?
I've found most $5 attys only last about 2 weeks.
Some more, some less. A few only lasted that day.
I don't clean or rotate them. I just use one until it stops

I just started using a 357. Its only been a week, but still going strong.

The problems I had were with the 306s. 2 of them could very possibly be my fault, had the air turned down to low on my GGTS. The other 2 separated on me. I might try the 357. I did love the flavor of the Cisco's and the 306s at first were the best I had ever tried. I had no desire for a cigarette using them but I fried them so fast, I just can't afford them not lasting.

Listen,,, get yourself a 510-510 sealed adapter, screw your LR Atty onto the adapter all the way, get yourself an Empire Drip Shield, and slide that whole Atty/adapter up into the drip shield so the bottom of the adapter is flush with the bottom of the Drip Shield. Now you can keep that LR Atty more wet and it will last you longer. I use this set up with HH-357's and keep them soaked,,, they last me 7-8 months and I run them daily. Keeping that Atty wet is the longevity of that Atty.

Thank you. That sounds like a great set up. Can you send a link to the drip shield? Who'd you have a long or short barel HH357 I have been looking into them but its kinda pricy for an atty... I hear they are the s#*@ tho

I don't dry burn because it can pop them super quickly and I feel makes the atty weaker. I aperseate all the tips.

mwa- So I placed my order today for a couple of Empire mods LR 1.5 ohm bridge-less attys, a drip shield, 510-510 sealed adapter and a new glass drip tip. So I am hoping that it helps with my issues. I appreciated the advice and look forward to giving the new set-up a go... I will be sure to post after I give it a couple days.

One question tho:
I really want an HH357 what is the difference between when you choose your juice blend when customizing it? Or should I just go with a 1.5 ohm on the $21.95 version?

I was also wondering about the 357, that is if it can accept a drip shield. It sounds like it can but what about the long barrel?

Yes the hh357 is capable of using a drip shield. You just want to get a 510-510 extension if you're using a 510 atty. If you're using a 901, some devices require the extension and some don't depending on the connector post being recessed or not. In that case, get a 901-510 atty. As far as the long barrells, they will still fit but it the atty may stick out a little passed the drip shield on the top. Still works perfectly IMO
