Would anyone be interested in seeing side by side breakdown pictures of the kayfun lite + and the EHPro clone? Someone on Facebook asked me to take some pics, so I did. I don't want to go to the trouble of transferring them to photobucket and uploading if there's already a thread or nobody is interested. But if anyone wants to see them I'd be glad to post.

Hope this works!

Here we go. The Kayfun lite + came from Cloud Nine Vaping in the UK. The EHPro a came from Vapor Cast in Ohio.

This is just a picture of the packaging:

Here is a picture of what's in the box:

Side by side, assembled with the clear tank section:

Another side by side, but the EHPro has the long clear tank in this one:

Line up of all the parts. EHPro has all the same parts as the KFL+ with the addition of the long clear tank and a drip tip adapter (more about that below):

Comparison of the two bases/decks from various angles:

Comparison of the chimney parts. You can hopefully see the EHPro top chimney piece is a bit taller and has a slightly larger diameter opening. They are interchangable btw. The EHPro top chimney will screw into the Kayfun, and vice versa.

Pic of the two bases and chimneys assembled. It's clearer in this picture that the EHPro chimney is a bit taller than the Kayfun.

Just a comparison of the SS tank components. They seem virtually identical to me. Matter of fact, I may have gotten them mixed up. I got them out of order at one point and not 100% sure which is which.

The short clear tank comparison. Can see the EHPro plastic is a little more opaque. There is no problem seeing the liquid level through it though, as it clears a little when it's wet.

Comparison of the two stainless steel center pieces. Virtually identical to my eye.

The top cap from various angles. They have a few differences. The EHPro will not fit a normal drip tip without the adapter. On the inside of the cap, the Kayfun o-ring lays into a depression on the top. The EHPro o-ring actually fits into some grooves inside the opening. Hard to see in the pictures.

The drip tips that come with each. Bottom panel shows the drip tips in the top cap.

Okay, I have a few more pictures, but I think that's probably enough for now!

A couple of other observations...

I really like the all clear tank. It allows you to see your liquid all the way to the bottom.

The EHPro has some whistling if the air control is fairly open. I've heard that some KFL tanks have whistling too, but mine doesn't.

I like the configuration of the top o-ring in the EHPro. It doesn't get misaligned since it is wedged up in there.

The drip tip adapter adds some length to the top if you want to use another drip tip. All my drip tips are fairly long, so I might get a shorty one to use.

The EHPro is easier to take apart. The Kayfun screws together very very tightly. I almost need some sort of rubber gripper to get the top cap off. The EHPro is much easier.

The o-rings on the EHPro are visible if you use the small clear window, while in the Kayfun they get hidden by the stainless steel parts.

Nice! Only real noticeable thing is the cycling on ehpro body and comparison of wick wells.

What do you mean by cycling on the body? Curious.

You can see the cycling rates from machining on ehpro easier. Top cap and base are a little different in tone than tank, but it is barely noticeable. Some clones, it is night and day.

Okay, thanks, I honestly can't see it. At one point I felt like I might have mixed up the ss connector sections and I spent a while staring at all of them and couldn't figure out which was which. I'm not familiar with such things though, so I probably don't have an eye for it.

Thanks for the uploads, very well done!

BTW, I have this EHPro version and found that you don't need to use o-rings on the plastic window; it has quite the perfect air seal without it.

Yes, and I think I don't have them on in the picture I posted. I had been using it without, and then when I was taking pictures realized I'd never gotten them out of the bag. There was no leaking. I wouldn't have realized they were missing if I hadn't been focused on comparing the two.

Whats the price difference between the two? ~$50?

About that, I think. It depends on where you get them. I paid £66.95 for the Kayfun from cloud nine, which is about $110. The EHPro, which I got at a B&M (vapor Cast) was $59 regular price. I've seen the EHPro for a little lower online, maybe as low as $49 from vendors I'm familiar with. Some of the lower priced vendors were OOS though.

I have the ehpro clone as well. Mine was just like yours, except mine does have the markings on the bottom cap like the real KFL+. Mine isn't blank like yours.

I also run the plastic center piece with no o-rings. Works fine, no leaks.

I picked mine up last week from a local b&m store for $49 that had just received a bunch in the day before.

That's interesting that it had the marks on bottom! So it says designed in Russia, made in Germany or vice versa, whatever?
