Sig 213 custom firmware..

So I came across some custom firmware for the Sig 213
It looks pretty legit and make it so I can read my screen again. It has one dark line on it... is it dangerous to change the firmware? Fuchai made it upgradeable but never released an update.

Did you put it on you 213? And do you have the 213 plus?

No I have the old one. Not sure I want to mess with it there is positive feedback on multiple sites but the main site for the firmware is in Russian and will not translate lol

So you must be trying to install the vortex firmware. I did it with the kaos and it worked fine. Your problem is the 213 is not firmware upgradable. The usb is for charging only. However the pins on the board are there. You'll have to cut the end off a usb and solder the wires to the pins. There is a english pdf file with instructions and the program to flash the firmware if you want to do it. I wouldn't do it if that's your only or go to mod. It does give you any option you'll ever need and total customizability.

Yeah I read the part about the soldering it's lame the usb does not work not sure why fuchai said the port should work if they ever release an update
