You can turn that touch sensor off but yes, I went for the Sigelei 100w as a preorder over the 50w iPV2 and I don't regret it at all, even with P4Y coming out with the iPV3. The form factor just looks much better to me but since no 100w units have been released to the public yet, it's hard to say what flaws it may have.

I pre-ordered this from a reputably e-bay seller. Curiosity got the best of me so I half expect to be burned by the first run; however, I do have a good opinion of the yihi chip that I've had experience with (SX350) so there's hope. I don't need 100w either, but at basically the same price as the 50w yihi based ones, I figured, why not.

It seems that Sigelei is working hard to address all the issues in their QC, they were supposed to ship to us end of this month but it seems that it will come around the beginning of September and we placed our order only a few days after it showed up on Alibaba.

I will say, there's some things that make me a bit uneasy, judging from their most recent images. They changed from the DNA-esque screen design (which looks great) to a very dated looking screen reminiscent of an Excel spreadsheet. Also their +/- button placement has been reversed and makes no sense to me; the bottom button is + and the top button is -.

From the few people I've seen with the new Sigelei 50w, most seem to enjoy it and the only gripe is that the magnetic battery door mechanism is a bit flimsy and opens up too easily. Not sure if the 100w will have the same door design.

Just Google it and see what it brings up, that's what the place I got mine from is calling it.

LOL never go by EBay descriptions. They are always full of errors. "Raptor" refers to a specific type of variable voltage chip capable of 120 watts. The Sigelei 100W uses the SX330v3 chip which is very different.

There are raptors up to 120w. They are available in 3, 6, 10, and 20 amp models. That makes them 18w, 36w, 60w and, 120w, respectively.
