That's messed up. Damn near unconstitutional. Somebody needs to start a petition to reasonably regulate the tax across the board

What you think you know, could get you hurt. In the city of Chicago cigarettes cost around $13 a pack, for 20 cigarettes! The City, State, and Feds have messed me up pretty good in the past, so I weigh all the options and decide where I'm going to stand.
I was a system administrator at a biotech in Silicon Valley. The co I worked for hired me to remove and provide project management oversight for the removal and replacement of 100% of their systems, computers, networks, telephones, and cabling and replace it. They offered me a nice sum with raises, milestone bonuses and a signing bonus, to oversee the project while 60 scientists went about their every day operations in genomics research. The co had a Chinese Dir of Bioinformatics, who I caught stealing, I was to get a bonus for catching him. I didn't get any of it. I complained TWICE on Yahoo Financials, and the FBI started to crank call me. They did not like what I posted. After a couple weeks, I got fed up and threatened the caller, an FBI agent, and they called me in for an "interview," wherein they threw me around for an hour. I lost $35k due to the ineptness of the FBI who told me I did not have a Bill of Rights and to sue them if I wanted the monies.
I trust people to do what is in their best interest. Period. Fend for yourself, or do not. It is up to you.
RE [edit]: the City of Chicago raised taxes $775 million on those within city limits. Democrats in control of the city for the last 60+ years put them in the hole billions.
