They both seem like pretty solid mods the sigelei has battery percentage, magnets, has a higher max voltage at 8.4,has bigger firing button, and it also has a silicone case. Sigelei 150W Box Mod - Eciggity

The IPV3 has upgradable firmware and as of now can go up to 165w but only maxes out at 7 volts but I've read that it maxes out at around 7.12 volts and can read ohms down to the hundredths so no more roundin up and the one Ivery been looking at is the beyondvapes version which is called the smithbox which has better buttons and and the touch sensor and charging port removed Beyond Vape Smith Box Mod [bv-smi-box-mod] - $128.00 : Beyond Vape, Premium Vaporizers and E-Cigarettes

I chose the Segelei 150 based on the reviews, ascetics, and company reputation. The fact that Segelei has been making affordable reliable mods for longer than I have been vaping also played into my decision making process. To each his own, both devices seem to be pretty solid and have strong followings.

So far sig 1 ipv3 0,I'm liking the sig too how accurate does it read because I know the ipv3 now goes down to 0.08 ohms and is accurate to the hundredths and do you think the extra 15w would really make a difference also Ive heard rumors that the ipv3 is gonna become a 200 mod in a near future update ,and unfortunately my ocd makes it really hard to make decisions

Either device should be a good choice. I have the ipv3 and it functions great since I got it in Oct. Sigelei and P4Y are sister companies The P4Y is supposed to be like the Acura and the Sig like the Honda. The Sig has a 3mth Warranty and the ipv 6mth. The ipv3 is actually a 165w and the sig 150w. Like I said they are pretty similar so either way should net similar results.

Ipv3 uses screws but sig150 uses magnet which is more convenient.

Ipv3 uses yihi chip which makes it better IMO. Sig150 uses its own chip so the battery life reading fluctuates and the chip makes hissing sound for some patches (check out the sig150 thread and read the user feedback). That's a huge drawback for sig.

Performance wise both are great.

I would, however, go for SMY 260, not because I need that much power, but I read and watched it as a very solid built device with much better user interface.

The Sigelei's use the SX330 chipset

I went back and forth between those two, as well. Then I saw The Smith, and since there is a Beyond Vape store in my town, I ran out and got one, about two weeks ago. Very satisfied with it! A big selling point for me, is that The Smith is warrantied for a year, by Beyond Vape, not Asmodus. The only little glitch I ran into was that I upgraded the software, but didn't use the update link that BV supplied, just used the one for the IPV, it worked fine, but when it boots up now, it no longer says "Beyond" before "IPV"...no big deal at all. It's pretty big, when I first started using it, I felt like I was vaping on a brick! Now I am used to it, like it very much. Beyond Vape pretty much fixed all the things I didn't like about the IPV, like the touch sensor, the silly star field on the side, better buttons, etc. The only thing they didn't do, which I wish they had, is to replace the screws with magnets, but other than that it's awesome. Took me a bit of time to get used to how you adjust the wattage, and I do kind of miss the puff timer, but all in all I am very happy with it.

It performs exactly as the IPV3 does, it's the same software. I don't have ability to post video, but looks-wise the only differences are that the top has kind of a wide groove across it, where the touch sensor would have been. Opposite side of the buttons, it's plain black with a raised Beyond logo. The charging port is blocked by a piece of silver metal. On the door is a smallish anvil pic enclosing the word SMITH. Hope that is helpful, I'm kind of surprised this mod doesn't get more love.

I'm the wrong guy to ask! I've never used any other box mod besides this one and the Istick! I can tell you I like this one, but I'd probably like the Sigelei 150 too, if I'd bought that. All in all, the IPV does what it says it does, and I like the look of it a little better. I'm a satisfied customer, I like it, but I don't love it, as it still feels big and a little awkward in my hand.
