Sigelei 20 Problem

I've had an intermittent problem for a while. Very occasionally, like once a month, it runs my battery down to 2.2V overnight. I finally spotted it happening.

The display normally gets bright while I have the button pressed, then it goes to dim as soon as I take my finger off the button. The dim stays on for 60 secs I think. Right now it's staying bright for 4 or 5 seconds after I release the button, and then the dim display stays on indefinitely. As a result it gets a little warm around the area of the display. It only fires when I have the button pressed though. So that's what has been draining my battery.

I just turned it off and then back on and it returned to normal.

Anyone else seen this happen?

I haven't noticed this problem, but I am having a more serious issue with the device. For some reason, the gravity sensing system doesn't seem to be working correctly. When I tilt left, it works fine. But right tilt doesn't work at all -- meaning I can't use the device over the default 10W.

Anyone else have this problem?

Mine's only 3 months old. There's no warranty. Are these things repairable? I doubt it, which leaves putting up with some reduced functionality or bite the bullet and get a Provari.
