Hi all.

Anyone else's sigelei 75W get very warm at around 50W+? Using a .2 ohm kanthal coil on a Herakles (I vape on 5 second pulls every ~10 seconds) and it gets quite warm to hold on the hand, and the base of the tank gets hot to the touch as well. It's not super hot that you can't hold it, and the drip tip isn't hot, but it is definitely noticeable. I'm not using the silicone cover, maybe that will help? I'm using a Sony VTC4 battery.

I don't have one, but I'm not surprised. I recently got a Starre tank. I found that I can't get anything out of it unless I push at least 35 watts through it. I vape about like you do and the tank gets really hot after about 5 minutes. That heat will transfer to the mod. When it (the tank) starts getting that hot to the touch, I slow down.

You're using a 0.2 ohm coil, so it's common for heat to build up. It is the heat from the coil, not from the mod. When I got the Atlantis 2 and used their 0.3 ohm coil, I noticed that the bottom of the tank (and due to the physical contact of the tank to the mod, the top of the mod) would get noticeably warm after vaping, especially if I'm chain vaping. After I started noticing that, I began to notice that even with the older style 0.5 ohm coils, heat begins to build up as well.
