Sigelei 9 won't fire up.

So I just got my sigelei #9 via vape mail and was excited to finally get it out of the mail and fire it up. As to my disappointment, it did not fire up. I've tried it in the 18350 and 18500 setup but it doesn't seem work at all. I put in fresh batteries and still, no action. Does anybody know why this is happening or have any suggestions I could try to get this bad boy going? I'd greatly appreciate any and all suggestions/comments.

I have the Sigelei #8 and #19 so I'm not sure how much help I can be but I'll try. First of all, what are you trying to use your #9 with?

I also have the Sigelei 8 & 19 which I use on my Kangertech Protank with no issues whatsoever. For some reason, the 9 won't fire up at all. I'm baffled.

have you tried turning the bottom ring? possibly it is locked so it will not fire?
Just trying the simple stuff first.

LOL!! Yes bottom ring is unlocked and I can depress the button to engage. I've flipped the batteries around, switched out from 18350 to 18500 and still nothing.

Pretty simple device. Either you are not getting connection at the atomizer/ tank.
Or the bottom firing pin is not making contact with the battery when you push the bottom button.

I assume you know what i meant by pulling the post. Just lift it out enough to help make contact with the other devices post..

Not familiar with that particular Sigelei , but I have several of them , and most of them are capable of adjusting the contact plate , on the bottom of the top cap . Either by turning a white delrin piece , or by a little slotted screw . Here's hoping you find the problem . Good Luck

Do you have a volt/ohm meter? Negative on body positive on center pin in DC Voltage setting. Press button and read output.
