So ive been using the sigelei Elite v2 for a couple months now and I love it! My coil was lacking flavor and production so I went to E-cig outlet for a new coil. I decided to try a 0.5 ohm kanthal coil for my mech along with my replacement N200 0.2 ohm TC coil. I was not impressed with the kanthal. I let it soak for five minutes after priming the coil and putting it in the atty. the taste was not there and the first couple hits seemed a tad dry.
When comparing the coils I notice that the TC has 6 holes and the Kanthal only has two. the TC was a vertical coil with the occ around the outside (I think its called Dragon wicking, help me out if im wrong) and the Kanthal was a Horizontal Standard Wicked coil that was only good to 30 watts. I tested it at 25w so its not that... I dont think ill be buying another kanthal coil for the Elite unless I HAVE to I.E. the shop is out of tc coils
