Hi guys. New member here and there's one problem occurs with my Sigelei Mini (using Subtank Nano and currently changed to Mini)

When I first bought it, it was firing fine in PWM mode. When I was using 0.5ohm coil, I could fire it fine with low wattage i.e. 5w and 10w to get perfect throat hit for my personal preferences. Besides, there's no delay in firing as well. As I could hear the juice boiling inside the moment I clicked on the fire button.

After 3 weeks, it was my first attempt to try out the DC-DC mode and ever since then It gotten so weak in PWM mode!
As usual, I was vaping at 10W and theres so little cloud production and I almost cant taste anything. I have to increase it to at least 17 or 20w to get proper cloud and taste as I was vaping at 10W previously.
During that time, I thought it was my mod problem, but whenever I switched to DC-DC, it performs well and fire instantly.

So Im not really sure whats going on with my mod as its working fine in DC-DC Mode (even at 5-10w) but now its gotten so weak on PWM Mode.
Its just not as same as before anymore.

Anyone facing the similar problem or is there any solution around? Sorry for my poor english and I'm sincerely looking for some suggestion to do next.
TQ!

just a guess, as I have the same mod but no real big problems, but I would start with a different and freshly charged battery, see if that makes a difference. Kind of sounds like a bad battery, even @10w in DCDC mode I get pretty good clouds unless I use a crappy old battery that's lying around my house. I am however using a sony vtc3 battery right now. And my other suggestion would be to clean all connections real well, including the battery one.
Good luck to you!

Also, DC mod is a better mode. If you run it in PWM its pulse width modulation meaning it uses a varying voltage to achieve the desired wattage. With DC its a set voltage for the wattage you want. If you watch the reviews for the Vicious Ant VariAnt you can hear what PWM sounds like at high wattages. Basically it sounds like a rattlesnake whereas DC is just basically burning the juice instead.

Here's a review of the Variant where you can hear the PWM at high wattages.

Direct current or DC mode will work like firing a mechanical mod with out the signal fluctuations in PWM which is a varying signal would be like continuously pulsing a mechanical mod in a rythem like a heart beat so if DC mode is working good I say stay in that mode the PWM is more for like Carto's and 2.0 ohm tanks so that it doesn't torch the wick. On a subtank or Atlantis or subohm coil DC mode is a must in order to use it to its fullest potential.
