sigelei ohm/voltage jumps

Hey there guys my sigelei box mod 50 watt v2 (new version with lines on side) started doing super hot vapes and extreme ohm and voltage jumps and ruined three coils trying to figure out what was wrong with it. I went on to forums and found a lot of people were experiencing this and said it was bad solder jobs on the negative wire or board. Needless to say my heart dropped thinking my 7 week old mod was already busted having never dropped or even scratched it. Luckily my local vape shop owner knew what was up. What happens is the rubber grommet at the bottom of the atomizer where the copper pin that contacts the mod fails to insulate and causes a short to the mod body. Although the grommet visually had no tears or signs of damage that is what it was and now my box is firing like a champ like before. Big ups to BUTTS OUT VAPOR SHOP of dayton nevada. Justin and Keri (owners) are the .... and fixed me up for free and even replaced my burnt coils at no cost cuz I had just bought my gear there and all my juice they really do care about their customers and got me vaping within ten minutes of diagnosis and repair for this... so if you have this problem and it's a new v2 sigelei check your atty before looking to warranty it cuz it won't be covered.
