I was considering purchasing a sigelei Telescoping ZMax V3 for one of my first vapes. What are your thoughts or opinions on this unit? I found a whole kit from electronicstix.com for a pretty good price at $74.95 ( ElectronicStix.Com · Sigelei Telescoping ZMax V3 ) I was wondering if you think this is a good choice for a newbie like me. Im assuming this would be a huge upgrade from the eGo-C Twist that I am currently using.

Thanks in advance for any insight/tips!

It looks like a nice mod thinking about getting one myself. Now i haven't ordered from these guys yet but I found a little better deal on this site Sigelei ZMax Flat Top Telescope (hopefully its ok to post that link)

Nice! I didnt see that deal, Thats an even better one I think because it gives you the versatility of the different batteries from the get go! thanks for the link

Idk what your price range is but I just got a innokin svd and it vapes great! Only downside is you have to buy 18650's and charger separately. I went from a ego with a stardust style clearo and the learning curve is very minimal if you do some reading. The menu system on the svd is very simple too and the thing is a tank. Idk if it's possible to break it lol

I just ordered the Segelei telescoping mod from Electronicstix last night. I saw this deal also, but after a little research I found that there was a bit of controversy surrounding this site so I went with the tried and true dealer I've order from before with no problems.

Hi, I too am a a newb and bought the Flat ZMAX tele as my first APV.

On Day Two

Cons:
Some times the button sticks and have to wiggle a lil to get it to pop up.
The APV sometimes will be non responsive and have to take off/on the Battery cap happen twice with the 18350 (Button top) & once will the 18650 (flat top)
Being a newb i am unsure if this happens with all APV's now and again. It's rarely happens and doesn't really bothers me enough to return it.

As for the "Pro's"

The build feels good. NO rattle'n in 18350 button top mode. good weight. Brushed SS feel and look (Chrome looks Phallus).
Thought the 1 button would be an issue, but doesn't bother me whatsoever...
Small, in 350 mode.

Another Member had received a bad copy... and posted his/her issues.

As requested.

I received it today and I'm truly dissapointed.

1: Bad 18350 contact. Once you get the battery out, the spring (that is loose) sometimes doesn't make contact. I fiddled quite a bit with that.
2: Ego cone threading doesn't work. With anything. Nor CE3 3ml tanks or T3. Only with an adapter.
3: My 1.3 ohm Terminator will read Low. It works flawlessly with my eVic

Really, I think I'm going to use the eVic exclusively. Nice LCD but that's it.

Sigelei Telescoping ZMax V3 ... From ElectronicStix $74.95
- As advertised at ElectronicStix for $74.95 ... is exactly what your getting ... GREAT Deal !

Recieved my "Sigelei Telescoping ZMax V3", just this morning.

Been playing around with it for the last few hours.
Out of the box, with the batteries & the t2 it comes with ... working fine with no problems.

Works fine with AW IMR 18350, 18490, and 18650 batteries.

The built quality is EXCELLENT... Stainless Steel, Brush Finish, OLED Screen.

Sigelei Telescoping ZMax V3, using a 18350 battery = SEXY!

No complaints here.

So after Vaping my sigelei zmax for a full evening.... I LOVE IT! I have had no problems with the screen or screwing on either 510 or ego threaded tanks, the button works with no issue and does not stick and all functions within the screen perform as expected.

The build quality is excellent and after a bit of noalax on the threads (as suggested above) the telescope and the end cap thread on and off with no issues at all. I am very happy with this mod thus far. For the price I am VERY happy with it. Hopefully it is as durable as the build quality seems to be, time will be the test of this.

P.s. there seems to be a bit more vapor and flavor when directly comparing this with my ego twist, I am pleasantly surprised. Time to go get some 18350 batteries so I can run it small and in the pocket when on the go.

I received my Segelei Zmax telescope a few days ago from Electronicstix. I'm loving it! It's working great with no problems. Build quality is excellent and it looks great. My Evods fit without an adapter and I can't wait til my Kanger Pro Tank gets here. I'm getting huge plumes of vapor and I think VW is the way to go. Excellent value at an affordable price.
